Previously: "So it would be okay for me, your best friend who is like a sister to you, to go out with Stefan without telling or asking you?" Caroline asked.
"Caroline," Elena said pulling Caroline outside "If it made you and Stefan happy then of course," she said to her friend "But if Rebekah makes Matt happy, and Matt makes Rebekah happy then they should see where it goes."
"But what if she ends up hurting Matt?"
"Then you and I will be there for him along with Bonnie and Tyler."
"That's if Tyler ever comes back" Caroline said.
Right in the mist of all the drama, before everything when Klaus was trying to kill Elena he turned Tyler into a hybrid then Tyler had to leave to try and brake some sore bond towards Klaus.
"He will be back Caroline," Elena told her "Now let's go find me a dress." Caroline smiled and hugged Elena.
Rebekah watched and listened on in their conversation, she couldn't help but feel jealous that she had been replaced.

After some minutes the girls finally found Elena a dress; it was a short red dress.
After shopping the girls decided to call it a day since Caroline and Rebekah got in a heated argument, Elena took Caroline home first then Rebekah so she could stay at the mansion for a little while.

Mikaelson Mansion
Rebekah and Elena arrived back grabbing their bags out of the trunk walking into the house, they placed the bags in the sitting room where Kol and Finn where, Finn was reading while Kol just sat there scrolling on his phone.
"You know," he spoke not even bothering look up at either of his sisters "You teenage girls really have a lot of drama," he told them.
"What do you know about girl drama?" Elena scoffed.
"Oh just a little; 'he's taking me to the dance that emo blondie!' or 'OMG! Sarah totally got a boob job!' and 'Their totally broken up, I can have a shot with Stefan!'..." he laughed mimicking all the things he's read on social media or heard around.
Elena listened as Finn chuckled to himself and Rebekah sitting on the sofa next to Finn, "Is Elijah here?" she asked.
"Finally ready to face your husband?" Kol asked now looking up at Elena.
