EDWARD'S POV:

I quickly packed up my belongings and stealthily left the room. The coach probably won't even know I'm gone. I checked both ways for teachers and sprinted to the lav. I arrived at my destination, out of breath. There he was, standing in the corner like a mother who had just read your juicy diary. Yikes.

"Eddy, we need to talk." Alex gestured for me to come towards him. "I know you and George have had a hard time finding girls to date," Oh, crap. I could feel my face heating up. It was obvious that I was lying now! "But I notice that you don't even try to find a girl, and claim to express no interest in doing so." Awkward silence. "I respect you for not wanting to date, but I wonder if that really is the case. I notice that you act a bit strangely around boys like Geo." Another awkward silence.
"So, is there anything you'd like to tell me?" I felt his eyes staring at me.

I cannot even think straight.

I broke the silence.
"I'm gay." I almost blurted out. Suddenly, I didn't feel his eyes burning my skin. I gained enough courage to look up at him, his eyes now concerned and soft. "Thank you for telling me." He said. We embraced and I felt my eyes burning up and flooding with tears. "I'm sorry if I sounded harsh, I was just worried." He pulled away. "I support you." He whispered.
"Please don't tell anyone." I said.
He smiled.

"My lips are sealed."

We walked down the halls and returned to our classes.
At least I can trust him.
