I walk softly on the ice
not knowing what lies beneath
Will the dark water take me
if I lose my step?
The ice is cracking under my feet
Is there a hope to reach the shore
or will I get lost, blinded by the snow,
and lose my way?
Still, I don't have any other choice
than to keep walking forward
towards the snow-covered shore
I see in the distance
believing that the ice will hold
and my journey will be safe
even if it is a foolish thought
I have nothing else to hold on
as the ice is cracking
