Sand

Like a sand carried by the wind

far away from home

I watch blue sky above me

feeling dust covering my face

as I keep walking into the unknown

Tired and thirsty

lost in the sea of sand

as loneliness fills my heart

and wind covers my footprints

I walk not knowing what lies ahead

Lost in the sandstorm

exhausted by the heat

I force myself to walk

remembering the dream

I had a long time ago
