I walk through empty streets
bathed in cold neon lights
that feels homely and comforting
to those who forgot how starry sky looks like
Trapped in the world of glass and steel
with gray clouds covering the sky
I still remember the sun and the stars
wondering if I am the only one
Did everyone else let their dreams fade away
and I am a fool holding onto something that is gone?
Or am I a star that refused to dim her light
and shine brightly for those who still remember?
Deep inside I know my answer
as I walk through empty streets
protecting my heart from the rain
