Finn the human and Jake the dog, a duo of heroes and adventurers who fight monsters and save princesses were now walking in the hallways of the candy kingdom's palace. At the behest of Princess Bubblegum, the two travelled here.
Soon enough, they made it to the princess' lab where she stood in front of a scientific contraption containing a cone of ice cream. "Finn! Jake! You're finally here!" Exclaimed the princess cheerfully upon seeing the two. "Check this out." She added flipping a switch, causing multiple flamethrowers to fire at the ice cream. However, the ice cream remained strong and cold again the mighty flames.
"Woah!" Exclaimed Finn in awe as the cover on the ice cream was removed, letting Jake the magic dog turn his hand into a scooper and scoop a bit of it. The dog downed the dessert without hesitation and took in the taste with a contemplative expression.
"Hmm. Tastes kinda burnt." Remarked Jake with a frown. The princess smiled at this reaction as she eyed the ice cream
"This ice cream was made using snow from the ice kingdom." Explained the princess. "If we can uncover more of its secrets, we would be able to make more than that. Imagine, food that never spoils or goes bad." She explained, passion seeping into her voice. "But for that, I need more snow for experiments. I need you to bring me some of that snow."
Finn immediately spoke with vigor and eagerness. "You got it, princess!" He exclaimed cheerfully as Jake gave a thumbs up with a mouth full of burnt ice cream.
"Be careful, Finn." Replied Bonnie in a worried tone as she closed her eyes to imagine the two's adventure. "The ice kingdom is home to the ice barbarians. They're VERY dangerous. Especially their princess." When Bonnie opened her eyes, she found the duo missing. She looked out of the window to find that they were already on their way to the ice kingdom.
All she could do was hope they would be okay.

At the edges of the ice kingdom, Finn and Jake stood wearing winter clothes with smiles on their faces. "Hey, Jake?" Finn called out to his brother with a pondering expression as he walked into the snow. "What do you think the Princess was trying to tell us before we left?"
Jake hummed. "She was probably warning us of the ice folk." He said as he transformed into a giant bowl with legs. "They're battle maniacs who are obsessed with strength. They say they feed their weak babies to other babies so they can make super babies. Even monsters don't wander here because they're so scared of them." He added as he began filling himself with snow. "And their leader, Ice Princess is the most powerful and brutal of all. Some say she even beat Billy!"
"Woah." Muttered Finn in shock and awe. "We should totally fight one." He added excitedly. Jake nodded in agreement before the two stopped their tracks.
"Ow!" The two suddenly heard a voice from the snow. "Get off me!" Finn and Jake both stared at the snow in confusion before turning to each other.
"Did the snow just talk?" Asked Jake in shock and horror as a bead of sweat rolled down his face.
"Snow can't talk." Asked the voice in confusion before the upper half of a 10 year old boy rose from beneath the snow. The boy had short hair as white as snow and blue skin. He wore a dark blue vest with a white undershirt, dark blue pants and boots as well as a comfy green winter scarf around his neck. "Unless you count snowmen. I'm Crys, nice to meet you." Said the boy cheerfully as he got out of the snow completely. "So, what's got a duo of outsiders like you travelling the ice kingdom?"
Finn immediately responded. "I'm Finn. This is Jake." He said gesturing towards Jake. "We're just taking some snow." He said nonchalantly. "For science." He added in a serious tone, causing Crys's eyes to gleam like stars as the image of himself riding a giant snow monster entered his mind.
