We Meet Again My Old Friend(Love)

I woke up because of the sound of my alarm at 6:30 am , I got up to make my bed and proceeded to my morning routine, as I finished I then prepared my stuff and checked if I forgot something.
Manong Ben messaged me that he's already at the lobby waiting for me, he picked me up just in time. I picked up my stuff and left the house, I waited for the elevator to open and as it did I entered and proceeded to the lobby.

As soon as I took off the elevator I spotted manong Ben immediately, I greeted him as well as the guard and the lady behind the counter and then followed tatay outside the building then got inside the car at the back seat, I wore a pair of my airpods and listened to music while reviewing the notes that were given to me.

At exactly 7:46am naka rating nako ng campus and walang traffic today kaya naka rating ako agad ng maaga, I messaged Shamz, Maya and Irish na nasa school na ako and I'll meet them later at 9:00am since pare pareho kaming vacant ang 9 am to 11 am, ngayon lang nagka taon na sabay sabay kami ng vacancy, well may meeting daw kasi lahat ng mga professors kaya magkikita kita nalang kami.

I wore my face mask and my cap, to disguise myself dahil sa mga students that keeps on staring at me and dahil na din sa sama ng pakiramdam ko at nag ka sipon at ubo pa ako dahil sa klima.

I went to the library at Dapitan dahil dun ko immeet ung mentor ko si Mrs. Alma Alvarez, she said we'll meet at 8'o clock kaya saktong lang pagdating ko kahit mag antay pako ng onting oras, makakapag advance reading na din para mas magets ko later ang topic namin.

I tapped my ID on the machine and the librarian gave me a 'library pass', I found a empty seat malapit lang sa entrance para makita ako agad ni Mrs. Alvarez, and read quietly.
After a few minutes dumating narin sya and we begin our session, she was super nice and very patient. I participated attentively and agad naintindihan naman ung topic, I was a fast learner kaya after her discussion she gave me a sheet of quiz paper to answer. I answered it in less than an hour, at 9:27 am she dismissed dapat talaga 9 kami matatapos but nag extend sya para tapusin ung dalawang topic para for tomorrow another lesson naman and para rin mas mabilis ung pag catch up sa recent topics.

"So kumusta first day?" Shamz asked before she put a spoonful of rice and sisig to her mouth.
"It was great, actually dalawang lessons agad natapos namin and quiz, I answered and understood it very clearly naman, easy" I answered as I removed the other side of my elastic strap from my left ears to start to eat. We're at the carpark eating our early lunch since none of us eat our breakfast we decided on na kumain.
We continue eating and talk about random stuff like academics, personal life and of course about their love life.
I don't have much to talk about my lovelife since it's been years nung nasa phase ako ng love.

Shamz phone buzz from a phone call, we're interrupted from our conversation because of the phone call. As her phone screen lit up I can't help but look at the caller, hindi ko inextpect kung sino yung caller, it was ate Reg Jurado.
Shamz answered her phone and talked for a while, then suddenly she made a shocked expression and turned towards me she looked like she just saw a ghost, I don't know why she's staring at me like that. Maya and Irish also had a confused look, she just sits there staring at me not saying any word it's just complete silence. She said her last words before turning her phone off and put it on the table.

Shamz pov;

The four of us are eating, walang masyadong pa ngayon siguro may iniwan ang mga prof na gawain or baka ung iba nasa kanya kanya nilang ganap. I recieved a phone call from ate Reg, I was surprised when she called, usually kasi mga ganitong time mag kakasama sila nila Cassie, ate Detdet and Xyza nag ggroup study. I answered the call and the other line started to speak. "Hello?"

R; "Shamz, is it true? She's back?"

S; " where did that came from?"

R; " when I arrived yesterday morning, I heard a group of students. They were talking about someone, at first wala akong pakialam kasi nag mamadali nako pumasok then pag pasok ko ng classroom I heard my classmates murmuring, they told me about what they're talking about.

S; "uhumm what is it?"

R; " Y/n is back, nakita nyo na ba sya?"
I don't want to lie from ate Reg kaya I said yes and told her that she's back in uste and she's with us  eating at the carpark.

R; "why didn't you told me?! You were with her na pala, when did she got here? how is she? Is she back for good? Tell me everything"

S; "I don't know if she's ready, but I'll tell her about what you knew, but ate, don't tell 'her' yet, I think she should be the one to tell her"

R; "of course, ayoko naman pangunahan sya, but I really wanted to see her now"

S; "I'll tell her, bye."

The whole conversation I had with ate Reg I just stared at Y/n, I can't believe na ang bilis maka kalat ng balita, I'm hoping na sana hindi mabigla or as much as possible hindi muna makarating kay Cassie. I've been staring at y/n for a long time I can't help it I was so surprised of what are Reg said, I'm finally back on my sense and speak up. "it was ate Reg..." They're all string at me waiting for my next words "she new, that y/n is here, and she wants to see you" I said point my fork towards y/n, Maya and Irish turn their faces to her as well. We just looked at her, I opened my mouth to say a few words "it's ok y/n if you're not ready yet, ate Reg truly understand, we're not gonna push you to something you're not ready yet, oki? Don't worry" I said worrying about y/n, I know she's not ready yet and we're not here to make her feel she's being forced.

Back to Y/n's pov;

After lunch I parted ways with my friends, I told them I still have some things to do, we'll be having our sleep over at my place kaya magkikita nalang kami sa condo.

I stroll around the campus, papunta ako ngayon sa Quadrilateral Pavilion, to meet someone, I feel nervous dahil after ilang years ngayon nalang ulit kami mag kikita, at the same time I feel confident din kasi alam kong walang training ang players ngayon dahil school hours and specially maaga pa, kaya I entered the building and made my way sa court, I know din na dito ko sya makikita kasi nandito lang din office nya, but sabi nya sakin he'll be down the gymnasium buong umaga dahil ngayon delivery ng bagong equipments kaya hindi nako nag message sakanya.

Lahat naman ng athletes for sure nasa designated classes pa sila kaya siya lang ang tao don and maybe ibang coaches din and authorities.

or so I thought....instead I was wrong.
