Cassie's pov;

"Tara na kasi Cassie parang naman tong others, para nga mamaya tuloy tuloy na tayo sa training" Detdet said habang pinipilit ako kasama sila Xyza at ibang team, wala kasi kaming mga prof ngayon dahil sa meeting nila kaya parang tama naman si Detdet na puntahan na namin si coach sa QPAV, bagong deliver daw kasi ng mga equipment kaya sabi nya na pumunta kami mamaya 1pm para icheck daw, Pero since d naman kami busy lahat kaya we agreed to go.

When we entered na gymnasium nakita namin na may kausap si coach, baka rookie or visitor.
Habang papalapit kami naririnig ko ang tawa nya, biglang nag taasan ang mga balahibo nang mas naririnig ko ang mga boses nya, boses na halos ilang taon kong hindi narinig, boses ng taong halos ilang taon kong hinanap at hinintay.

The both of them stopped talking, and coach called us and stops infront of them, the woman he's talking to didn't turn an inch to face us, baka nga talaga visitor or baka sila ung nag deliver.
"sino yan?" I asked Jo nag kibit balikat nalang sya dahil hindi nya din ito kilala, after pagalitan ni Bianca si Detdet Dahan dahang humarap samin ung kausap ni coach, sa una hindi parin namin sya makilala naka yuko sya at naka cap.

Unti unti syang lumingon, and when she finally removed her cap and face us parang akong binuhusan ng malamig na tubig "hi!", I can't believe who I'm seeing, sya ba talaga yan? Hindi ba ako na nanaginip? I have a lot of questions in my mind, I want to hug her she changed, everything changed, her usual short black silky hair now grew longer she also lost weight her pale skin, she looks like she haven't been exposed in the sun.

"miss me guys?" Her smile, her beautiful smile I never seen that smile for how many years, hindi ko alam kung anong mararamdaman ko halos nag hahalo halong emosyon lang nararamdaman ko. I can't move it feels like my feet are glued to the floor lahat sila lumapit at nagtakbuhan para yakapin sya, ang dami Kong gustong sabihin, gustong tanongin pero bakit parang nawala lahat ng puot sa puso ko nang makita ko ulit ang mga ngiti nya.

Everyone was hugging her, I can't move but my eyes are starting to blur. She finally breaks from their embrace she looks like she was searching for someone, our eyes met and quickly ran to me "Cassie?!", I let go of my tumbler and books I was holding and quickly did the same, we ran into each other and tightly embraced.

"a-are you ok? wha- where have you been?, anong nangyari sayo? bat ka umalis?" I couldn't finish my words as I stuttered, I scanned her up and down she looks so different to the point that she was unrecognizable "d-did you got sick?, you look so different,....what happened y/n? tell me please"
I have so many questions I wanted to be answered so badly.

"I'm back, I'm alright and I'm so sorry Cas, I'm sorry I left I never wanted to leave, I'll tell you everything I promise but right now I just missed you all so much and don't wanna leave you guys ever again", we pressed each others forehead at yinakap ko ulit sya the girls joined us as well and we formed in for another group hug.

Tinipon kami ni Detdet para gawin ang homecoming tradition to welcome her back, ang tagal din naming hindi nagawa itong tradition namin. As we're all round up Poyos counted and we prepare to chant,

"3 2 1!"
"WELCOME BACK Y/N! Handa ka na ba?!"
We shouted and waited for her answer, "aha! aha! Ready na! Ready na!"
After she answered we all cheered and the group hugged again.

My heart is full emotions but it was swept away with joy knowing that she's back for good.
I've been praying for this day to happened, I've been praying for her to come back and God really heard my prayers.

"Thank you God for bringing her back"

End of Cassie's pov

The girls are in their training outfits, some of them are spiking the ball and some of them are receiving from the other side of the court, I'm with coach Kung Fu sitting in the bench checking their chart profiles, while reviewing their previous outputs I saw that they really improved alot on their receives, services, spiking and blocking. They're training little advance for the upcoming UAAP S86 they're thriving to get that Championship, watching them made me want to play again I want to hold that ball too, I miss training with them.

Ate Reg spikes the ball in the air and bounced on the ground then to me, I catched it and hold it for a little while 'I wanna play again'.
Coach Kung Fu noticed, ate Reg was walking towards me asking for the ball, "y/n,...why don't you try hindi naman toh heavy training parang nag lalaro lang naman sila" coach said giving me a sign by nodding his head, the girls attention are now focused on me "oo nga y/n, why don't you try?" Ate Reg said motivating me to join.

It's been a while since I last touched a ball, hindi din naman sila heavy training they're just competing with each other as their training. Wala din naman mawawala kung hindi ko ulit subukan. "Sige na nga Pero try lang ah, tagal ko na din hindi naka hawak ng bola" I said and they all cheered. I put down the chart at a bench and proceeded sa court.

"Go y/n!" Xyza said and followed with "pakita mo kung sino ka!" by ate Jo, I positioned myself sa service line everybody was looking at me and cheering for me.

I took a deep breath and threw the ball in the air, and jump high as I serve I put all my might to spike the ball and *BAM!*  the ball landed on the other side of the court, they all clapped "sheeesshhh! Sabi na eh power" Cassie shouted and all said 'yiee' in unison,  Cassie just rolled her eyes and I just laughed sa kakulitan nila.

O Kay tagal ko ring hindi nagawa ang service ko nayon, "walang kupas parin talaga y/n! Kahit siguro inooperahan ka service ace ka parin" Saad ni coach Kung Fu and everybody were all looked confused and late na namin na realize ni Coach ung sinabi nya, saka ko lang na realise nang nag salita si Angge "inoperahan? Sino? Si y/n?" Ngayon lahat na sila naka tingin sakin, 'anong gagawin ko?, anong sasabihin ko?' kinakabahan ako sa situation ko ngayon, I was about to open my mouth biglang nag salita si Coach
"hinde hinde, ibig ko sabihin kahit nung bata pa sya kaya nya siguro yan ma ace, kasi diba nung bata pa si y/n inoperahan sya oh"

Nice save coach Pero nasave nga ba talaga sakanila, umagree nalang ako Kay coach at pilit na tumawa, "ahhh, nung bata pa kasi, kala ko naman inoperahan ngayon coach pinakaba mo naman ako" ate Det said.

They all continue their training, it's already 8pm na din and matatapos na training nila, nag kcool down na sila now, I stayed with them for a little bit to observe din sa buong training nila and now inaantay ko sila matapos, nag ka ayaan kasi kami na lumabas to hang out and catch up with them, sobrang namiss ko rin talagang makasama sila kaya sabi ko na my treat since they all deserve it naman, syempre sobrang saya nila  kasi libre.

I walked with Cassie habang nag lalakad kami papuntang parking lot, she was very silent habang magkasama kami I know gustong gusto nya na ng kasagutan galing sakin pero I'm really sorry Cas, I'm just scared to tell you because I know you'll blame yourself for something that's not your fault.

"Cas...." I want to break the silence between us, she just humed as her answer "how's life? Kumusta ka naman?" Tanong ko sakanya, she warn't really paying attention naka tingin lang sya sa baba, "ok lang naman, daming nag bago simula nung umalis ka natuto ako
alagaan sarili ko, kasi wala ka na para alagaan ako"
I'm lost with her words, hindi ko gustong iwan si Cassie pero kahit ako gumising nalang na hindi na pala sila makakasama, "I never wanted to leave Cas, really it's just too complicated" Saad ko sakanya
"You left me y/n, I don't know why but it hurts so much kaya kinailngan kong maging independent para sayo" I wish I could just turn back time para maiwasan ang nangyari sakin, sana hindi nalang naging matigas ulo ko non, "I didn't left on purpose Cas, I swear I'll tell you everything....but right now gusto ko munang mag enjoy, I missed out a lot soon you'll understand".

We arrived at the restaurant and I let them order anything they want, they all deserve a treat after a long tiring week. I sat beside ate Det kasi hinila nyako along with Xy kaya I have no choice, but Cassie and Ate Reg sat across the table and I let them enjoy their food.
