Neutral POV

Four months have passed since Vegas and Pete were rescued by Korn, marking the end of their nightmare. During that time, they both undertook a long and arduous process of healing, physically and psychologically, within Korn's headquarters in Laos. The physical injuries inflicted by Tiger's Eye required intensive care and rigorous rehabilitation, but the emotional scars were the hardest to overcome.

Pete and Vegas received constant support from Tankhun, Kim, and even Kinn and Porsche, Chay, Macau, and Ken. The latter have not yet visited them, given the state of emergency in which Korn has placed the main house. They have only spoken via video conference, exchanging news and feelings.

They all burst into tears when they saw each other again for the first time on screen. Kinn and Porsche didn't have the courage to tell Pete that they had started a romantic relationship. But Pete isn't blind and is rather reassured to know that Kinn is surrounded by Porsches.

The three feel a certain distance forming between them, but not in a bad way. A lot has happened since the last time they really saw each other.

Pete doesn't hide his face, seeing that Porsche and Kinn behave like a couple in front of him and Vegas, like Porsche and Kinn don't hide his face, seeing Vegas lovingly take care of Pete. It's as if it were something natural. No one blames themselves but they know that they are going to have to make a point. It is inevitable but will not be painful. Each one commits to it internally without consulting each other.

They mainly discuss Pete and Vegas' convalescence. Korn's medical staff worked tirelessly to ensure their recovery, with therapy sessions and specialized care.

Also, Kinn and Porsche, Macau, Ken and Chay learned that Gun was the Tiger Eye. The shock possessed them for minutes, completely unexpected. Macau burst into tears, apologizing to everyone for having such a mean father but everyone, even Porsche, told him that it was not his fault.

During these four months, they all united, determined to dislocate the networks of the Tiger Eye, whose head had a price put on his head across the largest secret organizations in the world. Despite the pain of losing Chan, the team redoubled their efforts to guarantee the safety of all and prevent such atrocities from happening again.

For Vegas, these four months were a period of intense reflection. He had to confront the realities of his family and his past, while finding a way to rebuild his life. Vegas learned that Macau had grown closer to Ken during this troubled time. This news had surprised him, as he never would have imagined his brother in a relationship with him.

However, as they grew together, he realized that this might be the best thing that could have happened to Macau. Ken, with his quiet strength and unwavering support, seemed to be exactly what Macau needed to heal as well.

Pete, meanwhile, found comfort in the support of his friends Arm, Pol, Porsche, and now his ex Kinn, but especially from Vegas, with whom he spent all his time. Their relationship had blossomed into an unbreakable bond, forged by the hardships they had been through together.

In their bedroom, Pete felt safe. He often crashed in Vegas' bed, finding solace in the physical closeness. Sometimes he just lies next to him, enjoying the silence they share. Other times, they watch TV shows together, discreetly holding hands, finding comfort in the simple but meaningful contact.

These moments of quiet and normalcy are precious to them. They offer a welcome escape from traumatic memories and a chance to reconnect with aspects of their lives that don't revolve around pain and survival. They've gotten new computers, cell phones to reconnect with the outside world.
