Kinn and Porsche left a few minutes after we all came to an agreement in our relationships. Pete remained silent, in his bed. I looked at him. A wave of satisfaction washed over me. He was mine, and mine alone, and that reality filled me with a strange sense of peace I had never felt before. I squeezed his hand gently. He turned his head towards me, his gaze boring into mine, grateful for everything we had been through together and happy for what the future held.

-It's over, Pete.

-Yes. I'm glad that meeting with Porsche and Kinn happened and that you agreed to let me comfort him. Thank you for that.

Pete leaned down to kiss me. I returned his kiss with the same tenderness. We were so invested in our moment that I didn't hear the door to my room open softly.

-Well... you're not wasting your time.

Macau's voice startles me, and I pull away from Pete, turning my head to my brother. He's standing there, a mischievous smile on his face, accompanied by Ken.

-Macau... Ken...

I feel my cheeks heat up slightly under my brother's gaze, but I don't let go of Pete's hand.

-We're just... catching up...

Ken smirks and nudges Macau.

-Looks like you have a lot of catching up to do...

Pete laughs softly, a little nervously. Macau walks over to us, his expression changing from teasing to something more serious.

-Vegas, I'm so glad you're back. And Pete, thanks for taking care of my brother.

He looks at us both with genuine affection, and I feel a wave of emotion wash over me. Ken places a reassuring hand on Macau's shoulder, giving him a small smile. I look at the two of them, and a question burns my lips.

-Are you dating ?

Macau blushes slightly, glancing at Ken before answering.

-Yes, Vegas. We talked a lot and... yes, we're together now.

Ken nods, a tender smile on his lips.

-I care a lot about your brother, Vegas. He's amazing, and I'm happy with him. Do you approve?

I stare at them for a moment, then a genuine smile spreads across my face.

-Of course I do. As long as you're happy together, that's all that matters to me.

Macau and Ken exchange a look of relief and happiness.

-Thank you, Vegas. It means a lot to us.

I nod, my eyes flickering to Pete for a moment before returning to them.

-Take care of my brother, Ken. With Pete, he's all I have that's most precious.

Ken looks at me, the determination in his eyes strengthening.

-I promise you, Vegas. I will watch over Macau as I would my own life.

Macau smiles at me, visibly moved by my words.

-I'm really happy that you're back, Vegas. I love you very much.

I smile back at him.

-Me too, Macau. I love you.

Ken heads to the door and says,

-Macau, we should leave Pete and Vegas alone. We have the Tiger's Eye meeting to prepare with Boss Korn.
