It really left a good impact on me seeing that friendly people still exist. People that want nothing more from you than your friendship. We all had developed a rhythm that I had never experienced before on a project. They would play pranks on each other, share inside jokes, and even go out for drinks after a long day of shooting. And that, always including me. I don't think I ever felt 'important' in a group since kindergarten.

The video was a masterpiece, a visual and auditory feast that captured the essence of the band and their music perfectly. When Joost decided to post it on his YouTube channel, he called everyone on FaceTime to watch it together.

I felt a thrill of excitement as I saw the video go live on the screen. I could hear the cheers and applause of the rest of the team as they watched their hard work come to life. Joost was beaming with pride, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of accomplishment as well. After all, my name was up there too.

After the video had ended, we all erupted into cheers and laughter. Joost raised his glass of water in a toast to the team, thanking us for our hard work and dedication. We all joined in as well, clinking our glasses of anything together in celebration.

As the night wore on, the team slowly said their goodbyes and went to bed. But I found myself unable to sleep. I layed in my bed, staring up at the ceiling, my mind racing with thoughts of the past few months.

I thought about how far we had come since the beginning, how we had started off as a group of strangers but had ended up as close friends. I then again thought about the late nights spent editing, the early mornings spent shooting, and the countless hours of hard work that had gone into making the music video a reality.

But mainly, I thought about Joost. I had never expected to get along with him so well, to develop a friendship with him that went beyond just a working relationship. He had shown a side of himself that I hadn't seen before, a kind and caring side that made me feel grateful to have him as a friend. I realized that it wasn't just about the project. It was about the people I met along the way, the friendships I had formed, and the memories I had made.

Author's note:

The end had to be a small friend-appreciation reference since I as well started realizing it's never the destination that matters, it's the journey. It took some time for me to understand it but I guess it applies to everything, even the making of this book. Maybe this is your sign to just start writing one, you never know where it leads! Love you lots!!
