It was almost the middle of November. The Dutch weather was cold and always gave me goosebumps, reminding me that I should wear something warmer. I was still in Hague and since the opportunity was there, I decided to go on the coast side to start my work. Growing up in Calais, France left me with habits such as this one: I was able to get things done easier when I was near sea.

I pulled out my laptop and camera from the tote bag I was carrying. It always took a little while until the photos would eventually upload  so my body instinctively got undressed and went for a bath. It was quite a bad weather to even be outside so I didn't worry about my things getting stolen. I also was aware that the sea was freezing but many people often joked that I'm 'cold intolerant' so I didn't mind. How I loved morning swims! It was the only thing that got me into good moods.

After diving for some minutes, I went back to the reason I also came here, finishing my work. I hated being late and sending the recordings after more than 3 days, mostly because I also kind of hated that myself when others did it. This was also probably what made me most appreciated in the collaboration with music industry.

For those who seem to be confused about what I specialize in, I am a photographer and editor and I often get invited to work with famous artists, getting recordings and more at their concerts, mostly around the West side of Europe.

As I was working on what seemed to be the 6th capture I took, a call disturbed the concentration that I had for it. It was a  number I wasn't familiar with but I quickly understood it was from The Netherlands. I picked up my phone and let it ring for another few second while I cleaned it from all the sand it accumulated.
