Ten

It has been a few hours since the school burned down. And since Kim Sunoo died. It was revealed that Mr Griffin started the fire so ever since then he got fired.

Dahyun's phone started to ring. She accepts the call and holds it to her ear.

"Hello?"

"Hello? Is this Kim Dahyun?"

"Yes, why?"

"I'm very sorry to say this but you're father died."

Seungmin heard from the other room. He saw Dahyun and she looked speechless. As if she didn't know how to feel about the fact that their father died.

She put down her phone and just stood there. Seungmin went up to her and hugged her as she hugged back.

"I might have to start working overtime. I hope you're okay with that." Dahyun muttered. Seungmin understood as the two were embraced in each other.

Little did they know, they were already behind bills. Their father wasn't bothered to pay them at all and Dahyun tried to pay as much as she could.

Dahyun's phone rang again, "for fuck's sake what is it this time?" She picks up her phone and answers the call.

"Oh, I understand. We'll get ready then." Dahyun hangs up the call and looks up at Seungmin.

"Bring as much money as you can." She says looking down as she walks to her room.

Life really hates us Seungmin thought to himself. He takes all of the stuff he needs, including his pikachu plushie he's had since he was a child.

There wasn't really much to take since Seungmin only had like two shirts, a pair of trousers, jean shorts and one pair of shoes. He didn't even have a hoodie that would keep him warm during winter.

He made his way to wherever Dahyun was and saw her at the door with the landlord. She was speaking to him about some stuff and gave him the key.

And so they walked out with nowhere to go. Life was truly against and they couldn't even afford to plan a funeral for their father.

"Should I get a part time job noona?" Seungmin asked Dahyun.

"No I don't want you to risk your education just to help me out." Dahyun replied.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes I'm sure. I know you want to help me but I want you to have a good future."

Seungmin nodded his head and continued walking.

It was very quiet during lunch. Nabi was in her room with Micha and Momo was at work.

Ni-Ki didn't even bother to eat his food. He just looked at it. Yeji and Hyunjin noticed. He's been like this since the morning.

"Riki, I know you're upset right now but please eat your food." Yeji muttered, "it's your favourite as well."

"I'm not hungry." Ni-ki mumbled. He cared a lot about Sunoo and would often tease him as a way of saying that he loves him.

"Is it because of Sunoo?" Hyunjin questioned the younger. Ni-ki slowly nodded and rested his head on his hand.

"I'm sure he doesn't want to see you like that." Yeji said as she stands up and goes to the kitchen to wash her plate.

Ni-ki sighs and starts to eat his lunch. Hyunjin finishes his and goes to where Yeji went. The front door opened.

"Hello everyone in here my boss let me go home early!" Momo exclaimed. She saw the state of Ni-ki, who was slowly eating his lunch.

Yeji emerged from the kitchen and said hello to Momo and explained why Ni-ki was in that state.
