The day is Wednesday. May 3 1967. It's late at night.
As Elouise and Talulla make their way home, they spot Calista and Marvin walking Rex after their date.
Talulla waves at them to get their attention.
They walk over to each other and gather around, saying their hellos.
Marvin
Line 1) Hey guys. What are you doing here so late at night?
Talulla
Line 2) Me and Elouise were hanging out all day.
Marvin snaps his fingers in realization.
Marvin
Line 3) That's right. Today's your birthday, isn't it, Elouise?
Elouise looks touched from Marvin's remembrance.
Elouise
Line 4) You remember?
Marvin happily assures Elouise.
Marvin
Line 5) Of course. Twenty seven, right?
Elouise nods her head.
Calista happily congratulates her.
Calista
Line 6) Well, happy birthday! Congrats on reaching this big milestone in your life.
Marvin
Line 7) Yeah, welcome to the late-20s club.
Talulla speaks smugly.
Talulla
Line 8) I'm not a part of this club. I'm eighteen.
Talulla flips her hair dramatically.
They all laugh together.
Elouise
Line 9) Anyways. It's really late. I'll let you guys go.
