The next morning goes by.
The day is Thursday. May 4 1967.
Calista and Marvin wake up beside each other.
Marvin opens his eyes and spots Calista laying beside him.
He swiftly sneaks his hands around her waist, pulling her closer.
Marvin
Line 1) Are you awake?
Calista shuffles herself around in bed to hug Marvin.
She tightly grips his body in a sad way.
She groans out a yes and stuffs her face on his chest, feeling gloomy.
Marvin smiles and cuddles Calista back, sensing her clingy mood.
Marvin
Line 2) Good morning~
Calista looks up at Marvin with puppy dog eyes.
Her unwanted thoughts from the night before flood her mind.
She tightly closes her eyes, and furrows her eyebrows in stress.
Marvin notices her mood of dismay.
He responds in concern.
Marvin
Line 3) Are you alright?
Calista cuddles into Marvin some more, replying to his question in a somber tone.
Calista
Line 4) For now.
Marvin looks at Calista in confusion, feeling slightly worried from her ominous answer.
He tries to dismiss his negativity and hugs Calista back in a secure way.
He smiles, gently rubbing his hand on her back affectionately.
As they prepare for the day, Marvin is still busy brushing his teeth as a part of his routine.
Calista walks into the bathroom, disregarding Marvin occupying the space.
Marvin looks at Calista in shock, not expecting for her to barge in on him like this.
