3K SPECIAL (Dazai)

"Mmm"

You yawned, your eyes fluttering open and mind waking up.

'What time is it?'

You look to your charging phone and find it to be 3:00 am in the morning.               

Not just any morning.

The morning of July 11, your birthday.

You however treat it like any other day of the year. 

You don't particularly care for your birthday since it brings back traumatic memories and you haven't celebrated it after your 6th birthday.

After checking the time you groaned, knowing that with your insomnia, there was absolutely no way that you were going to fall back asleep, you got up and went to the bathroom.

After washing your face and brushing your teeth, you went back to your bedroom and laid down while staring at the ceiling. This is what you always do when you wake wake up at 3:00 since it was becoming a regular occurrence.

You would've done that for the rest of the night if it weren't for the knock you heard on your apartment door.

You groaned, got up, and started walking towards the door in your aventurine pajamas.

'Why is someone knocking on my door this early in the morning, could it be Kunikida here to make me do the work that I didn't do yesterday?'

You open the door, to see a tall suicidal brunette awaiting you with a cake lit with a single candle with the number 20 on it.

"Happy Birthday M/n!"

You sigh then smile, internally happy that Dazai cares about your birthday.

You take in a breath then blow out the candle and go along with Dazai antics.

You let Dazai in your apartment and after Dazai puts the cake down on the table you start talking.

"Why are you awake at 3:12 in the morning Osamu?"

"Ahh, now M/n I could ask you the same question!"

You stare at him until he gives you an answer

"I came to see my Beloved Belladonna on his 20 birthday of course!"

'damn what a half-asses answer'

"Uh-huh, ok"

"I also brought a present for my belladonna!"

'That's strange, he didn't bring anything other than the cake with him when he entered my apartment, what could the present be?'

"What's the present Osamu?"

"I gift my Belladonna......... The gift of SLEEP!"

You stare at him for about a minute until you respond with your famous....

"huh?"

"Come here Belladonna" (A/n: I heard come here mafuyu-Chan while writing this 😭)

You slowly walk up to Dazai, and when close enough he picks you up, and lays both him and you under you covers on your bed.

He starts cuddling you after getting you both situated.

When you felt his arms wrapped around you and his chest on your back, you immediently wanted to object, but you felt comfortable with Dazai's presence and you started felling sleepy.

'This... isn't so bad...'

Was your last thought before you succumbed to a peaceful sleep.

Dazai noticing you fell asleep smiled and kissed your head

"Sweet dreams belladonna, sweet dreams"

A/n: So this was an early birthday gift to me because my birthday is August 11 and ain't no way in hell am I writing in August 11 since it's the day before the first day in school. As someone with insomnia the only way I can fucking fall asleep is if I wrap this specific blanket around me because  it makes me feel like I'm being cuddled and I imagine it's Dazai. This chapter was so comforting to me even though I wrote it in less than 15 minutes. The whole time all I could hear in my head was, 'white boy gonna rock your world, chocolate vanilla swirl', so I know I need sleep. Goodbye simps.
