As the sixth member of the world biggest pop band, One Direction, as well as the only girl, I had to stay in my own hotel room while the rest of the band, who were boys, got to bunk with each other as they pleased. Usually, we'd either just text or skype each other and not leave our rooms just in case the fans found out our location, so I was mainly on my own after every late concert, late interview, or late photoshoot.

So, when someone came knocking on my hotel door about half an hour after our manager, Paul, came in to check in really quick before telling me goodnight, I was surprised to find my bandmate and crush standing at my door when I checked the peephole on the door.

"Liam?" I mumbled to myself before opening the door. The boy glanced up and quickly rushed into the room, probably to avoid being caught by either fans or Paul. I closed the door and quickly locked the door before turning my attention back to the boy in front of me.

Liam hung his head, the hood of his hoodie covering his hair. "Hey, Li," I said softly, "What's up?" I asked, making the boy shuffle his foot awkwardly. "You know how I've really early in the glam room before the rest of the band every morning, for the past week?" He asked timidly. Furrowing my brows in confusion, I nodded and hummed, recalling his recent early-rise activity. "Well... Please don't laugh," He mumbled.

Before I could ask why I would laugh, Liam rose his head and pulled down his hood, revealing a horrible breakout of acne on the left side of his face, and down the side of his neck. There were a couple of the hormonal wounds were bleeding, while some of them were on the verge of popping, the bumps being swollen white.

"Oh, my God!" I gasp, my hand coming up to cup the right side of his face and turn his head so I could get a better look. "Liam, when did this happen?" I asked, feeling the flesh of his cheek burn with a blush in what I could only assume was embarrassment.

Liam shrugged, "A few days ago. I don't want to get up earlier anymore because I haven't been able to sleep recently, so I thought I could ask you for some help. You always have the most flawless skin out of all of us," He said softly, staring at the wall to avoid eye contact as I held his head.

Letting out an empathetic sigh, I turned his head to face me. I pouted my lip, "Liam," I cooed at him, "Why didn't you just come to me instead? You look so tired." Liam looked away with his eyes, making me take notice of the bags under them, a small darkening shade appearing. The pure exhaustion was already in his puppy-like eyes, but the sagging skin made him look weaker.

The boy shrugged quietly, making me sigh once more and let go of his face. I bit my lip while I thought for a second before taking his hand and leading him to the bathroom connected to my hotel room. I had left my toiletry bag and my makeup bag in there, so all I had to do was get to work.

As I started to open the bags on the counter, Liam stood behind me, looking over my shoulder curiously. I pulled out an acne facial wash without oil-based ingredients, a Korean brand hyaluronic acid cleanser with (safe ingredient) snail gel in it, acne cream, a lip repair sleep mask gel, facial cleansing cloths, tissues, eye bag removal masks(that I haven't used yet but have seen and read really good reviews on), and a headband.

(The author of this book uses similar things like these and they work spectacularly lmao)

"Okay, Li," I said softly, turning to him, "Go ahead and put this on so your hair doesn't get in the way." I handed him the headband, which he took and did as he was told. "Now, you're gonna hate me, but we might have to pop a few of those just to get them out of the way in the state that they're in," I told him, making him frown before reluctantly nodding his head.
