San Lang had just finished the door for A-Lian and knocked on it twice, "If you're going to draw a seal, at least draw it on a proper door. It works better."

I smiled as I nodded my head both of us headed in the seal not bothering either of us. I went to make some more noodles for lunch, as I could imagine both guys had been hungry since I was young. As we were outside San Lang was doing more heavy lifting chores as I did gardening and freshened everything up and truly made it look pretty. As I was prepping I noticed Xie Lian admiring the door's structure and giggled. "Looks like someone likes your work, San Lang," I said not bothering to look back at him.

"Hmm, it seems so. That's good," He spoke gently, and I can imagine the smile on his face.

Then Xie Lian finally came inside and sat across from San Lang as he spoke, "Thank you for your hard work you two everything is going so smoothly because of you, my friends." He turned towards me, "So what's for lunch Dong Xie?"

I turned my head over my shoulder looking at him, "Just some noodles, they're quick and easy to make, pulse they're filling. Hopefully, this will last till dinner." Xie Lian nodded as thanks as he looked at San Lang. They were in their own world as I focused on the noodles and then at the last minute decided on making onigiri. So after the noodles were done I started making some more rice.

San Lang noticed, "Hmm? Not done cooking?"

"Oh no, that's snacks for the day, just in case," I explained.

"Hmm, let me help. What is it?" San Lang asked.

"It's Onigiri, there just like Zongzi but instead of bamboo leaves we will wrap the rice into seaweed as well as put fewer fillings inside," I explained. As we began to eat there was a loud commotion outside and we each exchanged looks. But someone began yelling.

"Great immortal! Something's happened! Oh great immortal please, help us!"

And so Xie Lian got up to which I followed as San Lang stayed and enjoyed his food. We were greeted by several villagers crowding the entryway. When the chief saw the door begin to open he sighed a breath of relief as he spoke.

"Oh great immortal! This man looks to be dying! Will you please save him!" The chief exclaimed, worried for the stranger.

I looked at the man as he looked to be a cultivator of sorts, disheveled with sand all over him, his whole attire was tattered, even his shirt had holes in it! Regardless it looked as though he had been running for a while before the residents found him.

A-Lian spoke up, "Don't panic, he's not dead."

He bent down and pressed a few acupoints, and as he did he found a few spiritual accessories that I didn't bother looking at. As I looked at this man he didn't seem whole, like He was just a sack of skin walking with air following in him where at least normal people have their organs. "Hmm, I wonder what shall we do with this fool. He's quite brave for coming here, but then again no one knows who is currently here with A-Lian," I thought to myself as I began to chuckle. I had already gone back inside to make this poor soul a serving of food and water as someone normal would be thirsty and starving. Me and San Lan shared a look as A-Lian helped the man come in as he had woken up due to A-Lian.

A-Lian noticed both I and San Lang staring at the man. "Don't worry about him. Keep eating San Lang and Dong Xie keep... well doing whatever you're doing, hehe," He spoke to us trying to reassure us. He then sat the man on his stool as he sat on mine. "My cultivator friend, I'm the Shrine Master here and also something of a cultivator myself. Don't be nervous, you can tell us anything. You mentioned Banyue Pass?"
