I found myself on a long trail away from towns; as I walked towards a city, or well anything since I had zero idea where I was. The place I ended up in looks nice though there are trees with orange leaves in the area, and the wind is just a breeze as the sun is out with little to no clouds, It's a good autumn day for sure. I did bring a satchel with a traveling bed as well as some food with me just because I could. As I continued to walk to who knows where I saw a wagon with an older man guiding it. As he grew closer he stopped.

The man looked confused as he said, "Hello there, miss, do you need a ride?"

I smiled as I exclaimed, "Yes, that would be perfect, where are you traveling kind sir?"

He was slightly taken aback by my volume, "Um...I'm going to Puqi Village or its common name: Chestnut Village. Go ahead and hop in the back. I already have other passengers."

"Alrighty, thank you, sir," I barely tilted my head down before skipping towards the back where I placed my satchel and then hopped on.

When I finally looked up I saw two men, one was lying down and dressed in all red, he also had red eyes and black hair and looked to be around 18. Then there was another man who looked more like a woman dressed in all white with amber-like eyes and light brown hair and that person was Xie Lian! The exact person who I was looking for!

I smiled at the two before introducing myself, "Hello kind sirs, I'm Dong Xia please call me whatever you please. Who may you two be?"

The wagon began to move as I got comfortable in between the two.

A-Lian spoke up first, "I'm Xie Lian, it's nice to meet you."

The man dressed in red was next, "I'm San Lang."

The wagon was silent for a bit before Xie Lian spoke while reading, "If you think about it, a martial god is no different than a rubbish god. All gods are equal. All beings are equal."

San Lang then snickered, "Is that right?" A mischievous look was apparent in his eyes before continuing, "People naturally love saying that everyone is equal including gods, but if that was the case, then all those different gods wouldn't exist."

I spoke up now, "That may be true, but many people also connect with different gods in different ways. Just like how General Ju Yang has gotten his...reputation, many gods have different tales that attract people to them for many different reasons. Take me as an example, I worship the Prince of Xianle because he has stood for his people time and time again through the worst times of history, even though he is looked down upon most, he is still my god nonetheless."

Xie Lian was surprised, "You know of his highness?"

I looked at him, "Yes, my mother has told me tales of him since I was little. Though it mostly centered around our ancestors and our cultivation."

San Lang looked at me, "Hmm, so your family follows a god who had been banished twice and has been gone for about 800 years simply because of your ancestors? Quite odd of them."

I chuckled, "He may have fallen from heaven but not once has he fallen from our hearts. He helped rescue my ancestors who had lived in Xianle. When they found out that people had burned his temples down they built a new one with the little money they had. And, now that is where my family resides. Though we do keep it discreet by calling it a flower temple for an unnamed god in fear of people trying to burn it down once more."

Xie Lian noticed something and asked, "If I may impose, where does your family reside, what about you? Don't you live with them? What happened, if I may ask?"

"Hmm, oh it's nothing." I wave my hand around carelessly, "I'm honestly just acting out, but my father is trying to wed me off to an older man so that he can make a fortune, and it makes me sick, ya know? Sometimes I wish my mother never married him, but then again I wouldn't be here," I sighed, opting to look at the pretty scene around us. I sighed once again into my hand.
