Hi everyone!  So sorry this took forever to write, I'm finishing my last semester of high school and it's been a little crazy plus I have some family matters to attend to so I won't be updating until somewhere between 12/29-1/7.  But the next chapter I finally get to set everything in motion!  Also for what I have planned for this book, so for right now I'm not planning on a love interest for us but instead there will be some angst with friendships and all that mushy stuff, also this book will only have about 11 chapters total ending the same way with season one/the book.  Once I finish writing out everything from book 1 of the series I'll take about a month break so I can prewrite a bunch of chapters so a delay like this doesn't happen again.  But thank you to all my reader so far and sorry that it took so long for chapter four!

"Your Highness I'm here you wished to see me?" I asked aloud into an empty hall.

A voice came from the left just behind me, "Ahh you were able to make it, good. I have a favor to ask of you."

I spun around to face him, "What favor do you wish to ask me, your highness?"

"Follow me first let's sit down first you only just came back," Jun Wu stated as he began to walk up the stairs.

I followed him, the walk was silent but not awkward. We've known each other for quite some time now, so talking isn't much of a need anymore. Finally after climbing the stairs we entered a nicely decorated "reception" room. Jun Wu motioned me to sit down so I did, which he followed and as he sat he snapped his fingers and not even a minute later there was tea in front of me.

"So what do you need from me, Wu?" I asked casually.

He took a sip of tea waiting for me to finish my sip before talking. "I need you to keep an eye on Lian for me. I have a feeling he's going to run down to the human realm and get caught up in something."

"Is that all? Really, this is what you're so worried about," I asked, slightly taken aback.

"Not necessarily but I believe there's something going on down there, we've been having gods disappearing lately but I'm not sure currently. And since Lian's spiritual power is sealed currently, he's weakened and therefore an easy target," He spoke, his voice sounding much like a mountain.

"Hmm understood, I'm guessing you want me to investigate a little bit while I'm down there," I asked.

He shrugged his shoulders, "Do what you want."

All of a sudden he opened the array but he pushed me forwards to make it look like I entered the array. I bowed for my entrance as I was welcomed.

"Damn you Wu," I thought to myself while kicking my foot backwards into his shin, making him chuckle a bit.

"Back to the matter at hand. You said something of a child spirit, your Highness," Ling Wen asked.

"Yes, when I was in the wedding sedan, I heard the giggles of a child who sang nursery rhymes as a word of caution. The other officials that were near didn't notice," A-Lian stated.

He continued by asking, "Speaking of which, I met a young man who could control silver butterflies on the mountain. Does anyone know who he is?"

The room went silent as he finished, if a feather were to drop even that would create more noise. Jun Wu looked at me as a bead of sweat went down my face. "Shit," I thought. Thankfully the rest of the gods had begun to shift around themselves suddenly finding themselves uncomfortable.
