Wednesday forced herself to take a deep breath, her fingers drumming against the desk repetitively as she tried to figure out what the question was asking of her. Normally sciences came naturally, but her brain was fogged with the temptation of littlespace, making reading and all things that came with it difficult.

Sighing, she flipped the page over and simply started to doodle, having given up on the chance of learning anything.

Enid sighed as she glared at her sheet, unlike her counterpart, it wasn't the threat of little space blocking her ability to respond to the questions, she simply hadn't been listening while the professor had explained everything, and only had the simple ones written down.

"Nes, what's the answer to question three," she hissed under her breath, nudging the girl beside her slightly.

Lifting her pencil from the page, Wednesday looked over with a glare, upset that her drawing had been interrupted. "Donno, figure it out."

"I can't figure it out, I didn't even read my- are you drawing Kuromi?"

Quickly covering her page with her hand, Wednesday shook her head. "Doin work."

Enid rolled her eyes and put her own pencil down. "Don't lie to mama, I'm not judging you. Do you need some help with the work?" She could not provide said help with the work, but the comfort was in the offer.

Blushing slightly, Wednesday nodded and flipped back over her page, showing of the blank sheet. "Can't remember the names," she mumbled, pointing to the brain diagram. At least she'd chosen one that Enid could answer.

Glancing up to assure the teacher was still busy on his computer, Enid leaned over and started to point at things, giving letters or hints until Wednesday figured it out. All to soon, that diagram was filled out and her beloved little was pointing to the following one, which she could not remember a single one of the labels for the life of her.

"Uh, think of what the heart does, things tend to be named after what they do," Enid whispered in a panic, hoping the studying Wednesday had done would pay off and the responses would just come with some prompting.

Fortunately, she was correct, and even managed to slip a few of the responses onto her page as Wednesday whispered them out with her brow furrowed.

"Miss Addams, Miss Sinclair, do you have a conversation you wish to share with the class?" Professor Krillmen sharply asked, his eyes focused on the two as they shared information.

Enid shot up in her chair, cheeks beet red as Wednesday simply continued to list things out under her breath. "Uh, no sir, we were simply discussing...personal issues?"

"Such as?"

Shit shit shit shit- "I'm having...menstruel cycle issues." THAT WASNT BETTER.

The professors eyes went wide. "Oh- would you like to be excused with Miss Addams, you may go see the nurse."

Maybe it was better. "Yes, yes I would." Grabbing Wednesday's arm, Enid pulled her up and rushed the two of them out of class, checking the halls to assure there were no supervisors heading their way before turning in the direction of their dorm.

"Why not finish our work?" Wednesday whispered as if they were being stalked, pulling herself close to Enid.

"Because the teacher knew we were working together when we were not allowed, we will be able to re do the test when you feel older, okay?"

Though she seemed rather confused by the concept of not being allowed to work with her caregiver, who was literally there to help her, she nodded and grabbed Enid's hand, walking along with her until they reached their dorm room.

"Are you sleepy?"

Wednesday shook her head, running over to her closet and taking out her little box of toys.

With a sigh, Enid rolled her eyes and grabbed some things off her desk. "Nope, it's nap time or we are going to do some learning."

"What kind?" She pushed away her stuffed spider.

"We could do some math, or maybe some letter tracing?"

Crawling over to her, Wednesday sat at her feet and pointed for the book which contained the letter tracing. "Wanna shiny pen."

"Okay." Enid set down the book and grabbed a gold gel pen from one of her drawers, handing it to Wednesday who opened it quickly and started to work on using a stencil to write her name, which was much preferred to her since she did not agree with the ways the arrows in the tracing section pointed.

Holding up the page for Enid to see, Wednesday grinned proudly. "Look Mum! I did your name too!"

Just as Enid was about to answer, a shark knock rang on their door and she froze, both of them going still, and Wednesday clearly holding her breath as her cheeks were puffed up comically.

"I already heard you two talking, if you let me in and explain yourselves you may be off the hook."

Enid sighed, opening the door to find Ms Weems glaring down at her with a rather stern face, her arms crossed. Looking around, she seemed to take in the scatter of stuff around the room, then the girl who was still on the floor, though now breathing.

"Oh I see," her posture relaxed, and she let herself in, closing the door behind her. "You could have just sent me a text, I could have gotten you guys out, rather than finding you during dorm checks. Wednesday take the pen out of your mouth."

Reluctantly, Wednesday listened, flipping to the page full of R's and pointedly going the opposite direction the arrows asked her to.

"I wasn't planning on leaving, Professor Krillmen caught me talking to her and her had to come up with an excuse."

"And that excuse was?"

"Menstruel issues, makes men squirm."

Larissa couldn't help but crack a smile at that, laughing softly. "I admire the tactic. Unfortunately you aren't allowed to stay in the dorms during class times regardless, if you wish I could bring you to my office, or perhaps the support room?"

"Office!" Wednesday said, already standing up with her book clutched to her chest. "I bring Lucifer?" She pointed to her spider plush.

"Of course. Next time just text me, even once you are already out of class okay, Enid?"

"Okay."
