LISA

"No kissing, no cuddling and no let's go somewhere else, alright?" Dean asked me sternly, causing me to roll my eyes in annoyance and sigh quietly.

Once a person from school asked me out on a date, I accepted it and everyone around me reacted badly. They also act as if we're getting married and having children next week. After all, it's just an insignificant date that I'll forget about at some point anyway.

This is exactly why I never go on dates. My brothers, my friends and the others always make it so unbearable and I never really feel like doing that. The reason for my empty dating list is that I just keep dumping everyone. I've never really been interested in someone so much that I went on a date with them. By the way, such meetings are always cringe and just plain embarrassing. Definitely not for me.

"Our Lisa would never do something like that." Caleb said with a grin and put his arm around me. I looked at him annoyed, but he only smiled wider at me.

And at that moment I regretted it again that I had promised Ash, a cute boy from my level, in the first place but I had a reason for my commitment. Even though that reason was pretty stupid and unnecessary, at least I had one.

And that reason, of course, was Jennie.

This idiot says that she will never leave me and that I seem to be hers. First she annoys me, tells me nonsensical shit and then just disappears without a trace. She's been gone for three weeks and hasn't been seen anymore. Do not get me wrong. I'm happy she's gone. That's fine with me and I'm really happy about it. I don't have this psycho on my back and I'm no longer annoyed by her.

I just agreed to the date because I wanted to show that I wasn't waiting for her or anything. Although she probably doesn't know about it because she's busy doing whatever. I want to show for my own pride that she no longer interests me. After all, I'm not a toy that you play with for a short time and then just put in the far corner of the room.

I know my worth.

"Leave the poor girl alone." Ryan said, and I looked at him gratefully. Of all the idiots, I like this idiot the most. It's a little strange that he has the same name as my dad, but he's still my favourite.

Ryan and Caleb are twins and the sons of Aunt Kylie and Uncle Jackson. We are not related at all, but my parents have been friends with their parents for years. We see ourselves as a family and that will never change.

And that's why Dean dragged the twins to the fair. He seemed to want support. I really wonder if they don't have anything better to do in life than to interfere in my life.

"I'm just saying. But don't forget that we'll be watching you." Dean then said and looked at me sternly. We finally got along again, so he had to play the older, strict brother again. He'll probably never understand that he finally should stop.

"Don't exaggerate, Dean." I said slightly angrily, and he raised his eyebrows warningly.

"Don't exaggerate, Dean." Micheal said suddenly, who came to a stop next to us out of nowhere with another guy. When I recognized him, a big smile formed on my face and I immediately moved away from Caleb.

"Michael!" I said happily and fell into the boy's arms. He laughed and immediately hugged me back.

Since I rarely see Micheal since he's always busy with college, I'm always so incredibly happy to see him. He's just the big brother who I always wanted and someone who Dean couldn't manage to become.

"Even we don't get that happy to see each other." Caleb said slightly offended, while I laughed and walked away from Micheal and then turned to the twins.

"Well, you just have to set your priorities." I said jokingly, and they then looked at me with a disgusted look.

"She's right, guys. So, don't cry." Micheal said amused, where I looked at him with a grin and he then smiled back at me. Michael is Uncle Caleb's son. Uncle Caleb is Aunt Kylie's brother, and the twins are also related to him.

And yes, the twins were named after my father and Uncle Caleb. Very original, I know.

"What are you doing here?" I asked Micheal, looking at his friend, who just looked at us silently. What I immediately noticed was that he was pretty good-looking. He was tall, had light brown hair, blue eyes and beautiful hair too. A whole new snack.

I mean, I would like to have my children from him.

"Your brother told me you had a date with a guy here. I didn't want to miss that." He said, and I then looked angrily at Dean. He just shrugged his shoulders, whereupon I rolled my eyes in annoyance.

"I'll ignore the fact that you see my date as a movie and come to the question of who your friend is here?" I then asked him, looking back at his friend.

"I'm Jordan." This guy introduced himself and held out his hand to me. I was about to reach for it when Caleb stepped in front of me and shook his hand instead.

"Nice name, Jordan." He said, with Jordan then nodding his head slightly in confusion. I laughed quietly at the expression on his face, and he then looked at me and then started to smile.

"Hey, Lisa!" Someone suddenly shouted from the crowd, whereupon I looked away from Jordan and looked at the voice and when I saw Ash running towards me and waving to me, I took another deep breath in and out before I then ran in his direction.

Now hell can begin.

"Hey!" I said to him and smiled warmly at him. When he got to me, he was about to hug me but my brother immediately beat him to it and put his fat arm around his shoulder and pulled him towards him.

"There are some rules, buddy. There is no cuddling, no kissing and-" Dean couldn't finish his sentence because I immediately intervened.

"And we're not disappearing. I got it!" I said angrily and removed his arm from Ash. He was just confused and let me lead him.

"Let's just go." I said to him, to which he then nodded his head and we then walked back into the crowd.

"Have fun!" Ryan shouted after us, but I simply ignored him and dragged Ash with me. Since we were at a fair, we could easily blend into the crowd so that the idiots couldn't see us anymore.

"So, what do we want to do?" I then asked Ash with a sigh, while he then smiled at me, took me by the hand and then dragged me somewhere. We then spent the next hour trying out various devices and spending a lot of money at stalls and I actually had to admit that it was actually a little fun. Ash was surprisingly funny and I didn't have to laugh at his jokes.

Above all, you could tell that he didn't just want to drag me into a corner somewhere and only think about one thing.

"Do you want another bag?" Ash asked me, looking at my empty popcorn bag. We were standing in a corner, eating the unhealthiest things we could find at this fair.

"Oh, I-" But I couldn't finish my sentence any further because he still took the empty bag from me.

"I'll be right back." He said, smiled at me briefly and then disappeared into the crowd. Grinning, I tucked my hair behind my ear and bit my lower lip slightly.

Maybe something would work out with Ash. He was sweet, kind and anything but dominant and aggressive. Exactly what Jennie was not and that's exactly what I wanted in a person. I was just about to reach into my pocket for my cell phone when I felt something strange about me. I suddenly felt like I was being watched, which immediately made me feel uncomfortable.

I frowned in confusion and looked around the chaotic and crowded crowd for the cause. Then out of nowhere these dark eyes met me. The dark eyes that haven't wanted to leave my head for weeks. I swallowed hard when I saw her silhouette standing in the corner. Her hands were in her pockets and her gaze was fixed on me. I could see her tension from a distance and I don't even want to start talking about her aggressive look.

All in all, Jennie definitely didn't look happy.
