3RD PERSON POV: same shit,different day. That's the best way to describe Ayumu's situation, having lost everything, lost her childhood friend, what small family she already had, her dignity, her dreams, her will to live...everything

Ayumu honestly felt like a zombie. Aimlessly walking about as she lives with the regret of her actions. The only thing keeping her from doing the extreme was her time as a shrine maiden and at times even a nun. Helping locals or tourists. Giving out blessings and such

That and when she first tired to end her life she was flashed with the memories of the broken Y/n as she felt the rope around her throat tighten. Seeing the heartbreak and disappointment in his eyes as she fought to survive

the parents would keep arguing as Ayumu cried helplessly on the sofa, silently pleading for everything to stop, luckily her grandfather walked in with two officers causing the two to stop their arguing

Rohan:you get all of that?

The man asked while turning to the officers who nodded as one of them put away a tape recorder they held in their hands as they arrested the parent who fruitlessly attempted to resist

Rohan would look down at his granddaughter as Ayumu looked up at him with puffy blood shot eyes

Ayumu:i-I'm not like them am I grandpa...?

The girls voice was clearly broken as Rohan sighed before sitting down next to her and bringing out a Bible he held under his arm as he looked at his crying granddaughter

Rohan:I can't forgive you for the things you've done to Hiroki. I can only help in forgiving yourself, Ayumu. I can only hope your learn from this and repent for your sins

Ayumu would cry harder as she slowly hugged herself while crying louder before Rohan sighed and gently pulled her into a hug. Probably the only hug the two will have after everything
