Chapter 4
I was pulled on deck just as a large white blur flew over.
" Aang" I mumbled before I noticed the Firenation blockade. A giant fireball hit the ship but we continued on.
" Your going to get us killed." I yelled and Zuko glared at me before telling the crew to fire back at them. I watched Appa fly away unharmed and I sighed but my eyes widened, when I realized that we were about to rammed by another ship, but just before it hit us, they stopped and I looked up to see Zhou. Zuko took a smaller ship to sneak his way to the temple, and I quickly climbed on board when he wasn't looking. When we arrived on the island, Zuko went in, while I waited a few minutes before following behind him.
When I got to the chamber, Zuko had ahold of Aang. I was about to make myself known when Zuko fell down the stairs. I quickly followed Aang into the room with the statue, before the doors closed behind us. We watched as the light hit Roku's statue but nothing happened.
" Why isn't anything happening?" I asked and he shrugged as we got closer to the statue. Aang yelled at the statue and the room filled with smoke. When it cleared Avatar Roku stood before us.
" It's good to see you, Aang and you as well, Migona. What took you both so long?" He asked and we bowed respectively to him.
" I have something very important to tell you both, that is why when you were in the spirit world, I sent my Dragon to find you."
" Is it about that vision, the one of the comet?" Aang asked.
" Yes"
" What does it mean" I asked
" 100 years ago, Firelord Sozen used the power of that comet to begin the war, he and his firebending army, harnessed it's incredible power and dealt a deadly first strike against the other nations."
" So the comet made them stronger?" Aang asked
" Yes, stronger then you could even imagine."
" If that happened a 100 years ago, what does the comet have to do with the war now?" I asked
" Listen carefully, Sozen's comet will return by the end of the summer, and Firelord Ozai will use it's power to end the war once and for all. If he succeeds not even the Avatars will be able to restore balance to the world." Our eyes widened." Aang, Magona, you must defeat the Fire lord before the comet arrives"
" But I haven't even started learning Waterbending, not to mentioned earth and fire-" Aang pointed out.
" And I've just started Firebending." I added.
" Mastering the elements takes years of discipline and practice, but if the world is to survive, you must do it before summer's end." We stared at him in horror and shock.
" But what if we cant master the elements in time, what if we fail" We cried together.
" I know you both can do it, for you have done it before." I frowned and he smiled.
" I know you have many questions but for now, the solstice is ending, and we must go our separate ways, for now, but know I am a part of both of you, when you need to talk to me, you will find a way." Roku closed his eyes and we did the same.
" A great danger, awaits you at the temple, when are you ready, I can help you face it."
Aang and I looked at him, our eyes a glow with a blue light and we spoke with the voice of all the avatars at once.
" We're ready" we told him.
The doors opened and we stepped out, that was the last thing I remember before everything went black.
The next thing I knew, I was waking up in my room, Iroh sat next to me with a look of sadness on his face.
" What happened?" I asked weakly and he sighed.
" You and the other Avatar, destroyed the temple, according to Prince Zuko you took, Ironically, the form of Avatar Yangchin." my eyes widened and I sat up.
" You should rest" he told me and I shook my head before standing up only to stumble, he caught me and frowned." Where is he"
" Zuko is in his room, but what I wonder is why you didn't tell us."
" What would have been the deference, if I had told you, he would have still gone after Aang." I told him standing up straight.
" That maybe true, but now it seems, you have more problems. Zhou now knows, and quite possibly my brother as well" my eyes widened and I sat down on the bed, then I smiled and laughed a little.
" I guess since my secrets out, you'll need to know my name." I bowed to him respectively and he smiled." My name Is Migona, and I'm the second Avatar to be born in the last 112 years."
" It is a great honor to meet you, Avatar Migona." At that moment, Zuko entered the room and glared at me.
" Leave us." he told Iroh, who nodded before smiling at me and leaving me with Zuko. I avoided Zuko's gaze and he was silent before saying." I could turn you into my father and have my honor back within three days." I looked at him.
" Then why haven't you?" I asked and he smiled. " Because, as far as he knows, the Avatar is a 12 year, airbender boy from the southern air temple, not a little girl from the southern water tribe."
" Then what are you going to do, Prince Zuko?" I asked, curious about his plan, and he smirked.
" I'm going hunt down the Avatar." Then with that he was gone, leaving the door wide open.
And me?
I was just confused.
Why would he sacrifice his chance of going home by not turning me into Firelord?
Zuko's POV
If only she knew how I felt about her, I walked on deck and looked up at the moon, it was full tonight and Migona's beauty was the only thing that could compare.
When I carried her out of the temple, I had actually, for a split second, thought about turning her over to my father but then I realized, it wasn't worth it if I never got to see her again. I had heard her and Uncle talking, and when I heard her reveal her name, it fit her perfectly.
Uncle walked over to me and I looked at him." Am I making the right choice, Uncle?"
" Only time will tell, my nephew" he told me before walking away. I sighed before looking back up at the moon.
