3rd POV
--
Y/N dragged herself into Leblanc, barely able to keep her eyes open. She found Ann, Makoto, and Akira already at a table with textbooks, papers, and snacks scattered around. Ryuji was lounging in a chair, looking equally unenthusiastic.
"hii," Y/N muttered as she plopped down next to Ryuji. "I'm here."
Ryuji looked over with a uneasy expression. "ugh.. we all were dragged here"
Before Y/N could even settle in, Ryuji grabbed her arm and pulled her next to him. not next to akira so he couldn't do anything "Come on, let's get this over with."
"Ugh, do we have to?" Y/N whined, looking at her notes with dread. "I'd rather take a nap."
"Yeah, same," Ryuji agreed, dropping back into his chair. "we can do this though"
Ann looked over with a gentle smile. "Come on, Y/N-chan, it'll be over before you know it."
Makoto, who was already knee-deep in her notes, raised an eyebrow. "You two better get to work. We've got a lot to cover."
Akira, flipping through his textbook, gave a half-smile. "Let's just get through it. We can take breaks whenever we need to."
Morgana, who had been snoozing on a high shelf, stretched and jumped down. He landed softly on Y/N's lap, purring. "meow."
"Morgana," Y/N said, scratching him behind the ears. "You're the best study buddy."
Sojiro, busy behind the counter, glanced over with a knowing smile. He thought of Y/N-chan as a special someone who reminded him of someone dear to him, but for now, he just enjoyed seeing her among her friends.
Ann nudged Y/N's arm. "Okay, let's start with this problem. What are you stuck on?"
Y/N sighed and slid her notes over to Ann. "It's this algebra crap. I just don't get it."
Makoto was already helping Ryuji with his notes. "Ryuji, you've gotta pay attention. It's all about practice."
"Tell me about it," Ryuji grumbled. "I'm trying."
Akira was flipping through a study guide, trying to find the right section. "Let's break this down, step by step. We can get through this if we stick together."
As they worked through the problems, Y/N found herself getting more into it, especially with Ann's encouragement and Akira's help. Ryuji was still struggling, but Makoto's patient explanations seemed to be making a difference.
Hours ticked by with a mix of studying, complaining, and occasional snack breaks. Morgana had moved to Akira's lap, purring softly as he read.
"So, what's the plan after all this?" Y/N asked, looking at the clock. "Anything fun?"
Ryuji groaned. "I hope so. I need a serious break after all this."
Makoto looked up from her notes, slightly amused. "We can plan something once we get through this mountain of homework."
Ann nodded, smiling at Y/N. "We'll have a break soon. Just hang in there a little longer."
As the study session came to a close, Y/N felt a mix of relief and accomplishment. Despite the stress of exams, being surrounded by her friends at Leblanc made the day less painful.
"Thanks for helping i guess," Y/N said, packing up her stuff. "I think we got a lot done."
Ryuji stretched and yawned. "Yeah, I'm wiped. But we did okay."
Akira nodded in agreement. "Definitely. Good job, everyone."
As they packed up and said their goodbyes, Y/N felt a sense of satisfaction. Even though studying was never fun, days like these—filled with support and camaraderie—made the grind a bit more bearable.
