phantom thieves POV
--
The Phantom Thieves wandered through the winding corridors of Kamoshida's Palace, their mood a blend of frustration and occasional amusement. Joker, Skull, Panther, and Mona were navigating the maze-like palace, keeping an eye out for Kamoshida and his twisted desires.
"Man, this place just keeps going and going," Skull complained, kicking a stray piece of rubble. "How does he even live like this?"
Joker, walking ahead with a focused expression, replied, "We've got to stick with it. We'll find him eventually."
Panther rolled her eyes playfully. "If I see one more of his creepy statues, I swear—"
Mona, perched on Joker's shoulder, added, "hey! We're getting close. I can feel it. Let's keep moving."
As they turned a corner, they were met with a sight that made them all stop in their tracks. In the center of a lavish, over-the-top chamber, Y/N's shadow and Ann's shadow were clinging to Kamoshida's side. Both shadows were dressed in ridiculously revealing bikinis, mirroring Kamoshida's twisted fantasies.
Skull's jaw dropped. "Whoa, hold up. Is that—"
"Y/N's shadow," Joker finished, his eyes narrowing. "This is just... ugh. This place is seriously messed up."
Panther put her hands on her hips, her face twisted in both anger and disbelief. "And look at them, clinging to Kamoshida like he's some kind of hero. It's disgusting."
Mona hopped down to the floor and shook his head. "This is the worst. But don't worry, we'll get them out of here."
The group started moving closer to get a better look at the scene. As they did, Kamoshida's shadow, dressed in his ridiculous attire, swaggered around, clearly enjoying the spectacle.
"Look at him," Skull said with a grimace. "He's like a kid in a candy store, except it's all just gross."
Panther snickered, shaking her head. "Yeah, he's definitely enjoying this way too much."
Mona, jumping up and down with frustration, exclaimed, "It's like he's trying to outdo himself with every twisted thing he comes up with."
Joker, trying to keep things light despite the seriousness, said, "Alright, let's not get too worked up. We're here to steal his treasure, remember? Let's just keep an eye on him and make sure he doesn't notice us."
They began to trace around the room, staying out of sight but keeping a close watch on Kamoshida and the shadows. The team managed to overhear snippets of conversation and see just how the shadows were interacting with Kamoshida, who was clearly reveling in their discomfort.
"I can't believe he's still doing this," Panther muttered, her eyes narrowed. "This is so messed up."
Skull groaned. "Yeah, but it's kinda what we expected, right? This whole place is a nightmare."
Mona nodded. "At least we know where to hit him. We just need to be smart about it."
Joker, ever the strategist, added, "We'll find a way to get through this. Just stick together and keep your cool."
As they continued their reconnaissance, the group managed to lighten the mood with some jokes and casual banter. Despite the grim nature of their mission, they found moments of camaraderie and levity in their shared frustrations.
"Hey, Skull," Panther teased, "try not to kick any more debris. We need to be stealthy."
Skull grinned. "Sure thing, but only if you promise not to set anything on fire."
Mona chimed in with a playful meow, "And I'll be sure to keep my paws off any more of Kamoshida's creepy statues."
