Y/N's POV
The next week when I went to school with Ryuji, we were called to a morning assembly.
As we all stood in line, a classmate behind us turned to his friends, "What's with the sudden morning assembly? There was that weird calling card too, so I guess the teachers are freaking out."
Huh? What calling card? I'd heard students talk about it, but honestly, I couldn't care less.
A few moments later, the principal spoke into the microphone on stage. "Let's begin this school-wide morning assembly. As you all know, a tragic event took place the other day. Thankfully, we have been informed that she has pulled through, but it will take time until she recovers."
"Everyone here has a bright future ahead. I implore you to rethink the importance of life and—" The principal was cut off by the creaking of a door. Kamoshida came through, looking... different.
"Mr. Kamoshida, what's the—" The principal's voice was cut off again as Kamoshida took the microphone.
"I... have been reborn. That is why I will confess everything to you all," he spoke, turning to face us all.
'...What's wrong with Mr. Kamoshida...?' 'Did the volleyball team do something?' I heard murmurs around the students.
"I have repeatedly done things that were... unbecoming of a teacher. Verbally abusing students, physically abusing my team, and... sexually harassing female students. I am the reason why Shiho Suzui tried to kill herself!"
'..Sexual harassment?..' 'Why would he say that about himself?' '..What..?.. Ugh, he is the worst...' '...Abusing the volleyball team?..' 'Sexually harassing..?.. Maybe Y/N and Ann... but Suzui-san?..'
What the flip? Okay, jokes aside, what the hell? When was this? Maybe the day when I was sick...
I remember when the others visited, they didn't seem to be in the best mood nor wanted to do something fun. Pff... like I care.
But later that day, when I was lying on the couch, watching the new season of Kimi ni Todoke, I heard Ryuji coming home, defeated and dirty. I hadn't given it much thought until now. Now with all this Phantom Thieves stuff and all my friends ever talk about.
Well, after that, I didn't really want to listen. I still felt uneasy hearing his voice even though he apologized to me and Ann in front of everyone.
Okay. Kamoshida is officially done for.
