Having been let out of ADX Florence just 72 hours earlier, Louis Creed made his way to New York in a black 1965 Ford Mustang.
His hair had been slowly graying due to all the time he had spent incarcerated.
Louis had been left angry that Irwin Goldman testified against him.
He had been determined to get revenge on his father-in-law, which is why he attempted to escape, and that attempt got him reincarcerated at ADX Florence.
"I am free from that prison. As soon as I get some gear, I will get vengeance, and I will reclaim what was mine to begin with." Louis exclaimed angrily.
He pulled up at a convenience store, then, with a pair of bolt cutters that he got ahold of after he left the prison grounds.
As he was driving down the road, he noticed an airplane flying to John F. Kennedy International Airport.
Louis continued driving down the road, intent on his plan.
