Lena's been bugging me nonstop lately.

She's been texting and calling all the time—it's driving me crazy.

She got suspended from school, kicked off the dance team, and put in a different calculus class because of her actions.

Honestly, I can't stand her at any time. She's been a real pain in the ass.

Even her own brother Quinn can't fucking stand her. They don't even speak, and he told me she's really obsessive and shit. Now I totally get it.

Breaking Alina's ankle was way over the top, and then being all giddy about it and asking if I saw her dancing made me fucking mad.

I never wanted to hit a girl until Lena.

High school was a different story—her and her friends ran the fucking school and got everything they wanted.

But not here, and I'll make damn sure that doesn't happen.

Seeing tears stream down Alina's pretty face, I felt a shock.

I didn't even know she was on the dance team.

I should have watched her—I bet her dancing is as beautiful as she is.

It's been a week, and we've been studying as friends.

Everything with Alina has been so complicated. I don't want her to just leave my bed again. I really want to pursue something meaningful with her.

That's why I'm sitting on my bed, staring down at the text button. I want her to come over, but we already agreed not in the bedroom.

With a sigh, I finally text her, hoping for the best.

It says read, so I know she's seen it. I lay down, putting the phone on my stomach as I drift off to sleep.

"Teddy?" I hear as I wake up. I quickly get up and open my door. Sometimes I forget how tall I am because I almost bumped my head on the door frame.

Alina stands there with our project in her hand as she smiles at me, her pretty freckles and teeth making her look so angelic it almost makes me fold. I chuckle, "I wasn't planning to study, we're pretty much done," I say as she wide-eyes me.
