The mission at Gunga Mansion hadn't gone as planned. Some would call it a failure, some would call it a success. Potaru, or Sora Abo, had been involved in the mission at Gunga and was one of the heroes who was invading the mansion. Sora jumped away from her post during the mission to help the hero Hawks, or Keigo rather. Sora from her position and in her attempt to rescue and help those injured, she saw Keigo on the balcony and Dabi coming after him and immediately went to rescue him. Keigo had told Sora to run, but Dabi saw this moment of weakness, and used it against him.

Sora was badly burned, her body had burns all over from trying to pull Dabi away from Keigo and only getting severely injured herself, luckily Tsukuyomi had rescued the two of them.

Now Sora was in a 4 day coma at the hospital, people coming and going checking her vitals. Sora's eyes closed and she let out a small moan, she heard a gasp beside her causing her eyes to slowly open and close her head lulling to the side to see who was beside her. Aizawa stood behind Tokoyami, both wide eyed "I'll get the nurse!" Tokoyami rushed standing up and running from the room "Sora!" Aizawa exclaimed kneeling down beside the bed as she looked at him quietly "We had no idea how long you would be out, with your injuries and your over use of your quirk-" Aizawa was interrupted by Tokoyami coming in with a nurse. "Abo! Good to see you awake!" the nurse spoke happily, Sora still hadn't responded, she could barely process what was happening around her. Sora stayed silent quietly watching Aizawa and Tokoyami who watched her get her vitals checked and her bed lifted to have her sit up. "Wh-Where's K-" She stopped herself knowing not everyone knew Keigo's name "-Hawks?" she asked her voice hoarse from yelling days ago and then lack of use at all in her sleep.

Tokoyami looked at Aizawa to be the one to explain it to her. Aizawa only paused and opened his mouth just to close it again and the nurse interrupted the two "He had extensive injuries himself. He's awake, but because of the extent of his injuries has to use a text to speech to ta-" "I want to see him!" Sora interrupted "Sora-" Aizawa said "No! I want to see him. Please?" she begged, gripping the blanket in her lap tightly, her eyes filling with tears. Sora had feelings for Keigo. She was in love with Keigo. Sora had yet to tell him and she was so scared of losing him in that fight, and now all she wanted was to collapse and tell him everything. "I'm afraid I cannot do that" the nurse shook his head. Sora looked down before looking at the IVs in her body and the people around her, the nurse finished what he needed and left the room leaving the three of them. "Fumikage, go check on your other classmates for me?" Aizawa asked but posed it more as a 'get out please', Tokoyami nodded and gave Sora a smile before leaving the room. "I want to see him!" Sora repeated to Aizawa tears started to fall down her cheeks. "I know, I know you do, but you have to be patient" "I cant!" she shook her head stubbornly, her chest starting to rise and fall quickly as she was racked with sobs. "I thought I lost him!" Sora exclaimed between sobs, wiping her face with her bandaged hands. Aizawa only nodded and placed a hand on her knee to let her know he was there. Sora fell back asleep through her tears

Sora rose from her sleep again a few hours later, it was dark in her room and appeared to be night time. Sora looked around before looking at Tokoyami asleep in a chair beside her bed, Aizawa had appeared to have gone home. Sora looked at her IV's and contemplated, she wanted to see Keigo, no, she HAD to see Keigo. Sora sat up farther than her bed was holding her, and she struggled against the IV's but grit her teeth and ripped them out causing her to gasp in pain but she covered her mouth to keep herself from waking up Tokoyami. Sora moved slowly and painfully to the edge of the bed, setting her feet on the floor, holding the side of the bed for support. She rose and her eyes rolled back as she covered her mouth again to handle the pain of standing after days and on a very burnt body nonetheless. Sora took a moment to steady herself before walking for the day, pushing it open and making it out she squinted at the bright hospital lights, but the hallway was empty.

Sora started down the hall, using the wall to support her "Potaru! Good to see you awake!" a nurse passed her, not the same one as before, but this one didn't seem to care for her personally, but knew her for her hero work. "Why thank you!" she chuckled and grit her teeth again "D-Do you know what room Hawks is in by chance?" she asked with a closed eyed smile to try and seem innocent in the fact she definitely shouldn't be up and absolutely shouldn't have ripped her IV's out to go sneak to see Keigo. "Oh uh- I don't know i-" "I'm close friends with him, I wanted to see him before I left" Sora lied, the nurse seemed to cave a little "133" the nurse confirmed before bowing and walking away to complete their duties. Sora continued using the wall, and slowly kept passing doors, she counted, 124, 125- she kept going through the pain, she was so close. "Come on!" she mumbled to herself hoping no one would spot her as she reached 131, he was a few doors away, and finally she reached the door before she felt a hand on her bandages "No, Sora." It was Aizawa, damn. Sora pulled her arm away "I can do what I want, just let me do this. I've made it this far!" she begged "And you're bleeding and severely dehydrated without an IV with burns on 60% of your body." Aizawa argued, Sora scrunched her nose up and ignored him turning, she pushed the door to the side to see him, Keigo, sitting up, he looked her way and her body went limp.

Sora's body went limp her legs felt like they could cave but she stumbled forward, Keigo's eyes widened unable to form a response because of his voice but reached his arms out to try and help her as she stumbled to the side of his bed, tears already pouring down her cheeks "Hawks!" she sobbed out causing his eyes to go wider wrapping her arms around his neck. Aizawa begrudgingly went and helped her so she didn't harm her body or accidentally undo any of her bandages. "Be careful" he grumbled before leaving the room. "I thought I lost you!" Sora rambled to Keigo; he just looked at her his eyes twinkling in the low light with his own tears. Keigo shook his head to tell her no, she didn't lose him. Sora gripped his hospital gown, the one identical to the one on her own body. "I didn't even get to tell you-" she cried Keigo's face twisted in confusion he looked down at her clinging to him like he was a life line "I love your company, I love your jokes, your food taste-" she paused sitting up to look at him wiping her eyes, Keigo just stared at her almost dumbfounded "-you have such a lovely voice, you're so kind to me and I love hanging out with you and Fumikage. I'm so glad Rumi gave you my number..." she choked back a sob "I love you Hawks!" she cried out.

Keigo stared at the girl who just admitted her love to him, the one who sacrificed herself up on the balcony of the mansion, the girl who he had talked to for a year now, the girl who had been so kind to him and patient with his habits, the girl who supported his instability during his double agent work. Sora. Potaru. Keigo couldn't help but let a few tears fall as his mind raced with memories of the two of them together, with Mirko, with Tsukuyomi, with Endeavor even if Sora disliked him. Despite the pain in his throat and lungs and even his whole body he managed it "I love you too" he whispered to her. Sora's eyes lit up and she grinned a small laugh leaving her amidst the pain in their bodies "Well that makes this less awkward then!" she beamed. Keigo couldn't help but smile and nod too beneath his bandages. Keigo leaned forward pressing his forehead to hers, her face tilting up brushing their noses together through his bandages. They finally said it. Aizawa smiled outside the door, finally he wouldn't have to hear about her unrequited crush on him, just the cheesiness of their relationship.
