PATHS OF HEART

Prologue

This is like my first story which I deleted because it was not getting enough views and votes, so now I decided to rewrite it with some mirch and masala. So here it is-

What Happens when you love a person in college but then before the exams you come to know that your parents have fixed your marriage with someone whom you don't know, don't love her at all? You'll get married because business relations. Then you try to give your hundred percent and then you'll have a child but three on the naming ceremony of the child you'll come to know that your wife is cheating on you. Then you still give her a second chance but again she cheats on you and that is the last straw. You divorce her and then take your child's custody. And then you meet your college love.

Anuj Kapadia and Anupama Joshi were inseparable during their college years. Their love was the talk of the campus, a radiant example of young romance. They spent countless hours together, their bond evident to everyone around them. Their connection was deep and genuine, and their friends admired their relationship.

As finals approached, Anuj received devastating news. His father had arranged his marriage to Niharika, a girl he barely knew and certainly did not love. Anuj's heart shattered as he faced the reality of a future without Anupama. Despite his protests, the marriage was set in motion, and Anuj's life took a sudden turn.

After the exams, Anuj and Niharika were married. Anuj tried to make the best of the situation, striving to build a relationship with his new wife. They soon had a daughter, Aanika, which brought some semblance of joy into their lives. However, a year into their marriage, Anuj discovered that Niharika was unfaithful. During Aanika's naming ceremony, he found a message from her lover, Vanraj.

Anuj was heartbroken but chose to give Niharika a chance to make amends. However, when he returned home to pick up Niharika's parents for a visit, he found her with Vanraj in their home. The betrayal was too much to bear. Anuj decided to divorce Niharika and took custody of their daughter.

In the midst of this turmoil, Anuj met Anupama at a work event. She was now a part of his professional world, and they reconnected over their shared past and current struggles. Anuj shared his story with her, and Anupama was deeply moved. She asked to visit his home and meet Aanika.

When Anupama arrived, she was welcomed warmly by Anuj's parents, Rajesh and Meera. They immediately took to her, and a dinner was shared in a comforting, family-like atmosphere. Anupama and Aanika bonded quickly, enjoying each other's company.

As the months passed, Aanika grew to call Anupama "Mumma," a clear sign of the deepening bond between them. Anupama brought her own parents, Madhav and Sushma, to meet Aanika and Anuj, solidifying the familial connections.

For Aanika's first birthday, Anuj and Anupama threw a joyous celebration. The day was filled with love and laughter, a stark contrast to the tumultuous past that had led them here.

Eventually, Anuj proposed to Anupama with the support of both families. It was a heartfelt moment, filled with genuine emotions. Niharika, who had been living a life of regret and betrayal, saw the news of Anuj's engagement on television. The sight of Anuj and Anupama's happiness on screen only intensified her feelings of loss.

Unable to bear the weight of her choices any longer, Niharika confronted Vanraj, expressing her anger and regret. The confrontation ended with Niharika realizing that she needed to move on from her past to find a path forward.

As Anuj and Anupama's relationship deepened, they continued to build a life together, united in love and commitment. They faced their past with courage and embraced their future with hope, finding strength in their shared experiences and the family they had created together.
