After the laughter had finally subsided, the atmosphere in the room grew even warmer, filled with an undercurrent of joy and anticipation. The news of Anupama's pregnancy had transformed the day into a milestone that the entire family would cherish forever.

Meera, ever the meticulous planner, was the first to shift gears from celebration to preparation. She clapped her hands together, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "Alright, everyone, now that the big news is out, we need to start thinking about what comes next. We have a wedding to prepare for, but now we also have a little one on the way to consider!"

Sushma nodded in agreement, her motherly instincts kicking in. "Yes, we need to make sure Anupama stays healthy and stress-free. The wedding is important, but so is taking care of our daughter and grandchild."

Anupama smiled warmly at her mother and mother-in-law. She could see the gears turning in their minds, already planning every detail to ensure everything went smoothly. The thought of having both of them so involved and caring brought a sense of peace and happiness to her heart.

"Don't worry, Mumma, Mummy," Anupama said, squeezing their hands affectionately. "I promise I'll take it easy. We'll plan everything so that it's manageable for me and the baby."

Anuj, still a bit red from his earlier slip-up, took Anupama's hand in his. "That's right. We'll make sure Anu doesn't overdo it. The most important thing is that she and the baby are healthy and happy."

Just then, Anika toddled over, her chubby little hands clutching her favorite stuffed bunny. She looked up at the adults with wide, curious eyes, sensing the excitement but not fully understanding what was going on. "Mumma, Papa!" she called out in her sweet, baby voice, reaching up to be picked up.

Anupama leaned down and scooped Anika into her arms, planting a kiss on her forehead. "There's our little princess. You're going to be a big sister soon, Anika! Isn't that exciting?"

Anika blinked, not quite comprehending the concept of becoming a big sister, but she clapped her hands together anyway, imitating the happiness she saw around her. "Yay! Anika big sistah!"

Everyone laughed at her adorable enthusiasm. Rajesh, who was watching with a broad grin, leaned forward and said, "You're going to be the best big sister, Anika. We'll teach you all the things you need to know."

Anika, now thoroughly enjoying the attention, snuggled into Anupama's embrace, her little face lighting up with a smile. Anupama looked down at her daughter, her heart swelling with love. The idea of Anika having a sibling to grow up with filled her with both joy and a sense of completeness.

Madhav, who had been listening intently, leaned forward with a thoughtful expression. "We should talk about whether we want to adjust the wedding date or keep it as planned. There's no rush—we want to make sure everything is perfect for both of you."

Rajesh nodded in agreement. "Exactly. We have plenty of time to figure things out. Whatever you both decide, we'll support it."

Anupama glanced at Anuj, her heart swelling with love and gratitude for her family. "I think we should keep the wedding date as it is. I'm feeling good, and I don't want to change anything unless it becomes necessary. Besides, with all of you helping us, I'm sure everything will be perfect."

Anuj smiled at her, his eyes filled with admiration. "That sounds like a plan to me. And if at any point it feels like too much, we can adjust. The most important thing is that you're comfortable and happy."

Meera and Sushma exchanged a quick look, already communicating silently about the tasks that needed to be divided between them. Meera, always the organizer, started making a mental list of everything they needed to do.
