Hi Guys!
Sorry for the late update..
Was busy with some work. But don't worry, updates will be regular!
Please read the olds parts for recap...Story starts...
With the scare from the previous day behind them and Aanika recovering well, Anuj and Anupama decided to shift their focus to happier things. The planning for their wedding was well underway, and today was the day they were supposed to finalize the design for their wedding invitations. The family had gathered in the living room once again, the air buzzing with excitement and anticipation. Sushma had brought her favorite box of sweets to mark the occasion, and Rajesh was busy showing everyone the various invitation designs on his laptop.
Anupama sat beside Anuj, who had Aanika on his lap, bouncing her gently. She seemed to be in much better spirits, her giggles filling the room as she played with her parents.
Madhav, sitting across from them, leaned forward, pointing to a design on the screen. "What do you think of this one? It's simple yet elegant, with a nice blend of traditional and modern elements."
Sushma nodded in agreement. "I like it. It has that subtle gold trim, which gives it a very classic feel. Plus, the floral design is beautiful and not too over the top."
Meera, holding her cup of tea, leaned closer to get a better look. "It's lovely, but maybe we could add a bit more color? Something to make it stand out a little more?"
Anupama glanced at Anuj, who was busy entertaining Aanika, and then looked back at the design. "I agree with Maa. A touch of color would bring it to life. What do you think, Anuj?"
Anuj looked up, smiling at his fiancée. "I think whatever you decide will be perfect. But yes, maybe a touch of color could add some personality. How about a soft pastel—something like blush pink or lavender?"
Rajesh, ever the tech-savvy one, quickly adjusted the design on his laptop to reflect the changes. "How's this?" he asked, turning the screen toward the group.
Anupama's eyes lit up as she saw the updated version. The soft pastel colors added a delicate touch, while the gold trim and floral accents remained elegant. "It's beautiful," she said softly, her heart swelling with joy at how everything was coming together.
Anuj reached out to take her hand, squeezing it gently. "It's perfect, just like our story."
Madhav, always the practical one, added, "And let's make sure the font is clear and easy to read. After all, we want everyone to know where to show up and at what time!"
Everyone laughed, nodding in agreement. Sushma then opened the box of sweets and passed it around. "This calls for a celebration! The invitations are almost done, and soon we'll be sending them out. To a beautiful wedding and an even more beautiful life ahead!"
They each took a sweet, savoring the moment. Rajesh saved the final design and promised to send it to the printer first thing in the morning. "We should have the cards ready within a week," he said, looking pleased. "And then, it's all about delivering them and counting down to the big day."
As the evening wore on, they continued to discuss the details of the wedding—who to invite, the ceremonies, and how to make sure everything went smoothly. The room was filled with warmth, laughter, and the palpable excitement of two families coming together.
Anuj and Anupama, sitting side by side with Aanika between them, felt a deep sense of contentment. Despite the challenges they had faced, everything was falling into place, and their wedding day was shaping up to be the perfect celebration of their love.
Before the night ended, Anupama turned to Anuj with a playful smile. "So, Mr. Kapadia, ready to see my name on those cards next to yours?"
Anuj grinned, leaning in to kiss her on the forehead. "I've been ready since the day I met you. I can't wait to make you Mrs. Kapadia officially."
