Suncrest Church

The Suncrest Church is the only church in Suncrest. I have always loved the church, especially how it looks. The church is a small almost chapel like building with white wooden walls.

The front of the church has double doors with stairs leading to them and pot plants with white roses.

In the inside there are white door windows on the left and right walls besides the rows of white chairs that face the stage

The floor has baby blue worn out wood panels that creek as you walk on them. There are small step that resemble in color to the floor leading to the stage.

The back wall of the stage is non existent as it is a open view to the Chelsea beach, though there is a big white cross in the middle where the walls would've been.

On the stage there are two mic stands and a guitar that are used for praise and worship.

From the back of the stage there are stairs that lead down to the beach, which is where most of the kids go for Sunday school.

I like the interior and exterior of the church. I like the services. I liked the Sunday school when I went. I like the people.

But I mostly like the stories this small wooden building has.

The pastor of the church when he was younger, and his dad was the pastor, he met his wife.

James met Amanda at church, he even proposed at the church.

Most people in Suncrest have been married in this church, but none of their stories make me love this church as much as my parents story does.

It al started 30 years ago, 1994, my mum's family just moved to Suncrest.

My grandfather would always cause trouble in church or somewhere else and they would move, every 2 years to be exact.

When my mother came to Suncrest she didn't want to go to church, what's the point? They were going to move anyway.

My grandmother met my father and thought he would be a good match for my mother, so without telling my mother about my father , she asked her to go to church.

Obviously my mum said no, but eventually she went.

She walked into church saw my dad and knew he was the one.

When my father saw my mother he told my grandma he was going to marry her. She said if he did she'd give her a ring with my father's initial on it, 'A' for Adam.
