Ms. Lavina

She seemed to look as shocked as me. I quickly pulled my body away as she did too.

She cleared her throat, "This is too noisy, come with me to my table and we'll talk about this" She said as she noticed my uncomfortable position.

I nodded as I trailed behind her.

She led me to a table with a lot of  people sitting.

A beautiful woman came to my side, "Hi girl, you're really beautiful. What's your name?" She asked, smiling at me.

I smiled back, "I'm Mila, you?" I questioned her back.

"I'm Celene, nice to meet you." She said as she pulled her hand out for a shake which I quickly reciprocated.

"Torna al tuo posto, Celene. Ho bisogno di parlarle" She said sternly.
(Translation: Go back to your seat, Celene. I need to talk to her)

The girl, who I should call Celene, rolled her eyes. "Qualunque cosa. È davvero carina però." She said as she smiled at me before going back to her seat.
(Translation: Whatever. She's really pretty though)

I tilted my head, did everyone know Italian?

I was cut off by my thoughts when she said, "Don't worry too much. We're just strangers, strangers right now. We don't know each other and we just danced to the song, okay?"

I nodded, "Okay...Ms. Lavina."

"Call me Valerie when we're not at school. Calling me by my second name, makes me feel old." She said with a little chuckle which I did too.

She cleared her throat, "All this aside, why are you here?" She asked with a raised eyebrow.

I pursed my lips, "I'm just a student having fun." I said.

"With a fake ID?" She said, amusement lacing in her voice.

I shrugged, "Do you want me to go to jail, with my real ID?" I asked with a head tilt.

She laughed, "Well..." She trailed off with a shrug.

I narrowed my eyes at her, "Well what? Do you?" I asked.

"No but this is a crime...at least in our country." She said with a grin.

I rolled my eyes, "Nobody even noticed." I said.

She narrowed her eyes, "Do not roll your eyes at me." She determined.

I tilted my head, "I thought we were strangers?" I questioned jokingly.

She shook her head, "Let's stop this petty fight."

"Sure sure.", I said with a laugh.

"So is somebody gonna explain what's going on here?" I heard a voice calling out from beside Ms. Lavin- Valerie.

"So this is Camillia. Camillia, they are my friends." Valerie introduced me to them.

"Hi Camillia, I'm Elodie." A woman said, taking her hand out for a shake.

"Hi Elodie, you can just call me Mila." I said with a smile as I shook her hand.

"This is Jennifer, my wife. She's not much of a people person so please bare with her." Elodie said as she pointed towards her wife, who sent me a smile.

I nodded, "It's fine." I said as I pulled my hand back from the handshake.

"Not to sound rude but, who are you by the way?" Elodie questioned.

"I'm a student of Valerie's, my English teacher." I said as I glanced at Valerie, who was on her phone.

She raised an eyebrow, "So how old are you?" She asked.
