Yoon's Pov:

He immediately took off his suit jacket and put it over my head to cover my face.

I was shocked at first, and was about to walk away, but the sounds of people laughing around us made me stop.

Eunwoo whispered quietly yet sternly, "don't move".

I swallowed heavily.

Why is he helping me all of a sudden?...

Since I was without a mask and in such a tearful state, he must have thought that word would spread once someone saw me. It would definitely cause gossip on this important opening day.

As people passed by, he quickly took his suit jacket off my head, and his vivid image became clear to me again, "you shouldn't have helped me... but thanks anyway".

Before I could fully process his response, my chest began to tighten little by little. I knew what was happening as my heart started to beat terribly hard. I had started to get used to this situation that had been haunting me for a while.

I immediately took a few steps away from him, trying to hide my pained facial expressions.

"Yah... Miss Ignorant... What's happening to you all of a sudden?", he asked in confusion.

I need my medicine immediately... I can't breathe...

I remembered that my purse, which contained the asthma inhaler, had fallen in the room when Jungkook forced me into it, and it seemed I hadn't realized it until now.

My condition worsened, and my chest tightened. I entered the room with difficulty, clutching my chest, my breathing almost non-existent. I couldn't see where the purse is.

Suddenly, Eunwoo entered the room, his eyes scanning the floor until they landed on my fallen purse. He swiftly knelt down, rifling through its contents.

He approached me with urgency and handed me the inhaler, "is this what you were looking for?".

He's so smart...

I immediately used the inhaler, feeling my breath slowly return to normal after seconds.

As I regained my composure, I looked up to find him gazing at me with intensity in his eyes.

"So...", I sighed, "you saw everything".

"Yes... I'm not blind", he muttered quietly.

* * *

It's around 2.am.

Sitting cross-legged on my couch, lost in thought ever since I got home an hour ago. The dim glow of the city lights filtered through the curtains, casting long shadows across the room. My mind raced through all the possibilities.

What really happened?...

There's something missing...

I tried to push Jungkook's harsh words out of my mind, but they kept replaying like a broken record. The sting of his voice, the coldness in his eyes-it was all too vivid. But beyond the hurt, I needed to focus on the bigger picture.

What happened?...

Why did it turn out this way?...

Ney-hee... she's the key to all my questions...

I can be anything but naive.

Something fishy is definitely going on, and it all starts with Ney-hee not telling Jungkook the truth. She hasn't reached out to me at all. In fact, all her social media accounts have vanished.
