Yoon's Pov:

The rush of hot water cascades from the shower tap, embracing my body in its comforting warmth.

A serene hush envelops the bathroom, and a misty veil adorning the mirrors.

Within this quiet state, the rhythm of my breath resonates distinctly, echoing through the stillness.

With my eyes shut tight, I'm thinking about on the series of the unhappy events that happened since I stirred from my slumber a few minutes ago.

It appears that the medication Jin prescribed worked wonders, ushering me into a deep sleep that lasted through the night and into the next evening.

No wonder why I'm so lost now...

I switched off the shower, stepping out from the spray, and oddly avoiding my reflection in the mirror.

I dressed swiftly, slipping into my underwears followed by a loose black shirt which belongs to Jungkook. His smell is still can be sniffed through the soft fabric. And I finally finished dressing by wearing my comfortable gray shorts.

I glanced down, my eyes falling upon the scratches marking my knees, the lingering imprints of ropes etched upon my heels and wrists. The vivid remnants painted a stark picture of the harrowing experience I had endured.

It seems like a nightmare... a nightmare from which I hardly woke up...

I sighed in relief that all of this had ended.

I've reached a point where I'm grappling with denial about what transpired. Perhaps it's the shock phase, but I'm trying my best to relax, because I know I have Jungkook by my side. His presence gives me a sense of reassurance amid the chaos in my head.

Speaking about Jungkook...

He didn't sleep close in the room. His side of the bed bears no imprint of his presence. Even as I awoke, he wasn't beside me. A fraction of me, or perhaps my entire being, held onto the hope of finding him besides me upon waking.

After drying my hair and stroking a healthy medical ointment here and there on the parts of my body that hurt me a little, I looked at myself in the mirror cautiously.

I scrutinized every inch of my body, inhaling the soothing fragrances I'd enveloped myself in, hoping to convince myself of an inner calm following my shower.

Or maybe I need a full care routine...

So I did it, and I'm feeling much better after this warm shower. Except for my slight back pains.

When I came out of the bathroom, I found a full tray of food and no sign of Jungkook either. I was about to go out of the bedroom to look for him if the annoying birds in my stomach had not chirped from hunger, so I just sat down and politely ate my food.

After I finished eating and took my medication, I found myself sitting on the edge of the bed, leaning my shoulders on the headboard and thinking deeply.

I drifted away momentarily from my present surroundings, lost in my thoughts until the sound of the door creaking jolted me back to the present. Abruptly snapping out of my reverie, I turned my gaze expectantly towards the door, anticipating.

Jungkook lingered at the doorway for a moment longer than normal, almost hesitant to approach.

He is clad in a loose black t-shirt and casual sports pants. His tattooed arm caught my attention, radiating an aura of vitality. Yet, his demeanor is strikingly somber. And I'm clear sure that his facial expressions are revealing a sense of distress or depression.
