🖤AMELIA🖤

"That will be all!" He said loudly, walking away from me. I stood there, watching him walk towards Aria and the others, feeling my aching heart. His harsh words repeated in my head.

"I will rather kiss my dogs."

What are you getting yourself into Amelia? There is no love in this marriage. It is just business. This is not how you planned your life.

I hardly have plans for my life but I never dreamt of getting married like this. I have given love a thought once. And I liked the idea of getting married to someone I love.

And the person loves me too.

This is a complete different thing.

And I can't turn back.

My uncle will be mad at me.

"Amelia," Aria called, approaching me as her colleagues colleagues followed my soon-to-be husband out of the studio.

"You did so well," she said, smiling a little.

I dropped my gaze, not being able to force a smile.

"What's wrong?" She asked.

I shook my head, killing the urge to cry. I can't humiliate myself like that.

She reached for chin and raised my face to look at her.

Her face showed a little concern.

"What is wrong, Amelia?" She asked.

"Nothing. I am just...." I paused.

"Everything seems odd and new to you, right?" She asked.

I nodded, recalling what her boss said to me.

"I understand. It is normal. New things can be like that but you just have to allow yourself pass through it."

I nodded, dropping my gaze.

"Cheer up, okay? It is not a big deal. You are getting married to one of the most powerful men in Venice. You have seen his house right?" She asked.

I nodded.

"Isn't it big and beautiful?"

I looked at her.

She raised her brows playfully.

"It is." I said.

"Of course it is. Compared to your family house, no offense but it is far beyond anything." She said, chuckling.

I thought about out living conditions and my uncle's words.

"Your life is about to change, Amy. Mind if I call you that?" .

I shook my head.

"Perfecto. Come on, let's go and have lunch." She said, taking my hand and leading us towards the door.

"You have an interview with the press." She said, making me freeze.

"What?"

"Calm down. Not you, actually but you and your fiancé." She said.

It is the same thing!

"You don't have to say anything but sit down there and look pretty. See? Very easy." She said, rubbing my arm.

I faked a smile but thought about it. There will be cameras everywhere. I won't be comfortable.

God, I need to disappear.

Aria took me towards a restaurant in this building. The place is very fancy and fragile. Like if I miss a step, everything will shatter. That's how fancy this place is.
