I felt him hold my hand tightly. He leaned closer to my ear.

"Don't you dare pass out." He ordered, sending terrifying shivers down my spine.

I forced myself to stay awake.

He smiled at the people as if he hadn't just given me that heartless warning. We walked further into the building with the people still taking pictures.

We stopped in front of a double steel door. Aria pressed a button on the wall and the door opened.

Vincenzo headed in first, dragging me along. He let go of my hand as others joined in and stood behind us. The doors closed, adding to my amazement.

Next, I felt us moving. I jumped instantly, letting out a whimper as I held someone unknowingly.

"What the hell" I heard Vincenzo's voice, making me release him.

I heard a chuckle from behind.

I dropped my gaze, fiddling with my fingers nervously. My heart pounded.

"Pathetic shit." Vincenzo muttered, adding to my embarrassment.

I felt someone touching my shoulders. I realized it was Aria.

I am still tensed because we are still moving.

Aria held my hand, and it helped me calm down a little.

Not long later, we stopped moving and the doors opened.

I let out a breath.

We headed out and Aria released my hand and smiled at me.

"Excuse us," Vincenzo said, making my heart drop.

"Okay, sir," Aria said, walking away to join the others.

My heart pounded as Vincenzo stood in front of me, staring at me. I dropped my gaze.

"Listen," he spoke up.

I felt like running away. He is so tall and intimidating.

I can't even keep eye contact with him.

"Comport yourself. Don't you dare embarrass me during the interview, do you fucking hear me?" He asked.

I didn't respond.

"You are here for a fucking reason. You have signed a contract, and you have to work for it. Unless you want your wretched family on the streets."

I looked at him with my brimming eyes. My heart clenched tightly.

"Behave yourself and don't ruin things for me." He snarled.

Tears begged to flow.

"Give me your fucking hand." He said.

I nervously extended my hand to him. He held my hand and began walking away.

I forced myself to suppress my tears.

I can't wait to go home.

I can't wait to sit in my room.

I can't wait to get away from his

"Congratulations, Mr Montero." The man interviewing us said. I think he is the director Aria was talking about.

"Thank you, Emilio." Vincenzo said, smiling as he placed his hand on my lap, making me tense.

I fought the urge to shudder.

"You have a very beautiful fiancé and that's a beautiful ring you got there, my dear." The man said, looking at me.

I smiled a little.
