"The annual science competition for senior high school students is officially over, the winners will be announced tomorrow by our student council president, Mariah Arceta, accompanied by Sir Glen Garcia. For this year, 2024, the prize will be a framed certificate with your name on it of course, to be displayed in our laboratory awards wall, thank you and good luck!"
A male voice spoke out from the megaphones attached from every ceiling corner of this huge gym. Tita Aiah???? I need to talk to her, she might help us! I looked at ninang Mariloy who was pinching her arm "Ninang! Stop pinching yourself! Its real nga! Kailangan na natin bumalik! Quickly, let's find tita aiah!
I was about to run when ninang held my wrist "gaga anong tita aiah! Hindi pwede! off limits tayo sa mga kilala natin sa present time natin! Hindi to biro gwen, baka kung ano pa mangyari pag maysinabihan tayo..."
I asked ninang. "Paano tayo makakauwi ninang?" She looked around. "Eto, tulungan mo ko bitbitin tong machine ko" I followed her instruction. Suddenly we heard a familiar voice shouting.
"Hoy! Anong ginagawa nyo sa project ko!" I looked where the voice was coming from, it was the girl with the red bow earlier, and tignan mo nga naman, nagdala pa ng mga kasama, I rolled my eyes. Wait, I just realized, tita Aiah's behind her, she looks confused but serious at the same time, if that's tita aiah, then the girl with the red bow and glasses must be...."Loy, please stop shouting" tita Aiah told younger ninang. They were getting near. "Anong gagawin natin ninang?" I whispered. "Bitawan mo bitawan mo" ninang and I put down the poorly made Time Machine as younger ninang and two other girls stopped infront of us with younger tita Aiah getting pulled with.
"Ayan sila Aiah! Sabi ko sayo nangugulo sakin kanina pa! Yan na nga oh! Kitang kita mo kanina ninanakaw nila project ko!!" Younger ninang Mariloy screamed, this girl is so annoying, not present ninang though.
"Do something Aiah!! There making gulo to me!! Use your student council president powers on them na" younger ninang said, she crossed her arms then gave us irritated looks.
Younger tita Aiah sighed and walked infront of young ninang, she looked at us, trying to study our faces.
"I'm sorry but I don't think I've seen you guys before...my name's Mariah Arceta, I'm the student council president, may I ask what you're doing here?" Young tita spoke softy, she hasn't changed one bit. Her face was the same and she has this aura that kinda feels like she has a halo above her head.Ninang explained, "ah- ummm kasi iha...ipapaenroll ko sana tong anak ko" my eyes widened but they didn't notice
"Ah ganon po ba" young tita said. Young ninang suddenly went in between ninang and young tita and threw a tantrum
"Aiah! magnanakaw sila! Especially tong panget na mama nya!"Napatawa nalang ako kasi technically tinawag nyang panget sarili nya, well future I mean. Habang nagtatalo si ninang and young ninang, biglang may mga girls na nagtilian.
"Aaahhhh daniel!" "Nasan!" "Danny!!!"May mga male students na naka basketball jersey na pumasok sa gym....wait...dad???
"Tumakbo sya papunta samin, he looks so young, I mean obviously! But it feels weird seeing my dad in his teenage years, I suddenly remembered all the stories he told me, him being the "campus crush" I never believed him, but seeing a lot of girls swoon over him...that's my dad right there!
"Arceta!" He shouted at young tita catching the attention of young ninang and ninang, ugh this is so confusing.
"What? Can't you see I'm busy?" Tita said with an attitude, I guess they never really got along in high school as well, I wonder why, their cousins! Did they hate eachother since the day they were born or something?
Dad- I mean young dad went closer, he passed by me.
"Aga aga init na agad ng ulo mo cuz?" Young dad said as he tied he's shoe lace infront of tita. "Ano ba kasi kailangan mo daniel?" Young tita asked. "Where's Mikha?" He asked
