Arriving at Tokyo Jujutsu High, Y/N's gaze darted around, soaking in the surroundings. The school was a bit bigger than the one in Kyoto, and it definitely had a vibe of its own. Utahime was taking the lead, striding confidently toward the entrance, while Y/N and the others trailed behind, their excitement buzzing in the air.

"It's my first time here!" Miwa and Momo chimed in together with a hint of awe. "It's huge!" Miwa added, her jaw dropping as she took in every little detail.

Y/n couldn't help but agree; the place was stunning, but she managed to keep a cool expression behind her mask, not wanting to give too much away.

"Honestly... Not comparing or anything, but this school looks like you'll get lost." Mai chimed in, crossing her arms. "And it doesn't help that someone from my family attends here, which makes it even more worse— Just saying."

Y/n knitted her browss and gave Mai a sideway glance, "What?"

"You heard me clear..." Mai replied.

"I got that part. Just wanted you to repeat it," Y/n quipped lightly, then added what she meant, "Someone from your family...?"

Mai fell silent for a few beats, only the sound of their footsteps breaking the awkward moment. She adjusted her bobbed hair, suddenly more serious.

"Pfft. It's Maki. My sister. She goes here."
she said, her voice firm yet laced with an undercurrent of something deeper, like frustration.

Y/n, a little surprised by the revelation. The wheels in her mind started turning, curious why Mai sounded a bit off about it and as of why her and her sister seemed to be on different paths. Y/n wanted to ask more but sensing the shift in Mai's mood, she decided to let it be for now and stayed silent.

They finally reached the entrance of the school and stepped onto the campus, a mix of excitement and nervousness swirling in the air.

"Alright, students! Looks like that thing Gojo isn't here around yet." Utahime announced. "Feel free to wander around a bit. I'll let you know when it's time to meet up with the Tokyo students."

With a wave, she slipped away from them and added, "I'll be in the office with the principals. Don't stray too far, okay? Wait for my call!"

"Okay, Utahime-san. Will do!" they all said in unison.

"Where should we go first?" Todo jumped in, arms crossed and a determined look plastered on his face.

"I don't know, get lost." Noritoshi quipped, already walking ahead with an air of indifference.

Y/n stood there, unsure of what to do, while Mai stifled a laugh and shot a teasing glance at Todo. "Awh, poor Todo! Anyway, I have an idea." Her smile was all smug, and she looked ready for some mischief. "Who else wants to join me?"

"Are you coming y/n?"

As if on cue, Y/n as well turned and walked away without hesitation. "The universe said no.."

"Looks like Y/n-chan is also taking the solo route." Todo mused in frustration, watching y/n's and noritoshi's walking figure.

"If Y/n's not coming, Miwa and Momo probably won't either. So, it's just you and me, and Mechamaru, let's go!" Mai rolled her eyes dramatically, but her grin gave away her excitement.

Todo grunted, reluctantly deciding to team up with Mai as they walked away, except mechamaru. Instead, Him, miwa and momo followed y/n and noritoshi.
