Chapter 5: Alex Doesn' Believe Me?

Alex's POV

I was tidying up a few of the guest rooms, when sebastian walked behind me, I didn't notice until he cleared his throat, which caused me to jump slightly. I turned to him and smiled then politely said

"hello Sebastian, what can I help you with?"

Sebastian's POV

Young master had asked me to go inform Alexandra that she has to dust the ballroom, because we are having a ball at the manor tonight. After a few moments of searching for her, I found her tidying the rooms that our guests will be staying in tonight, and i quietly walked up behind her and when she didn't notice me i cleared my throat and watched her jump slightly before saying

"hello Sebastian, what can i help you with?"

No one's POV

Sebastian gave a charming smile as he spoke "young master wishes for you to dust the ballroom before the guests arrive, do you think you can handle it?"

Alex nodded and her necklace glowed a light red "tell the young master that i will get it done when i am finished with the guests rooms."

Sebastian shook his head then replied with "I will finish the guest rooms my dear, the guests will be here in a matter of hours and the ballroom is quite large"

Alex smiled gently "thank you Sebastian, it is very nice of you to help"

Said demon gave her a closed eye smile and gently placed his right hand over his heart and bowed ever so slightly. "It is my pleasure, besides, what kind of butler would I be if I couldn't complete a task as simple as cleaning a few guest rooms"

Alex's POV

I went to the ballroom and began to dust before stopping because something didn't feel quite right... I felt a slight tugging at my memory as it felt like something was trying to return, and as i thought harder into it my memories returned and i looked down at what i was wearing. "Ugh! I ha'e dresses!" god this maid's dress is ugly... I then went to the kitchen to find bardroy and when I did I walked over to him. "Bard! do you have any idea as to why I am wearing a maid dress?" i asked, my voice having the slightest touch of anger in it. He studied me for a moment before speaking.

"Ya, Sebastian pu' you under a spell which forced you to pu' a maid dress on."

I started laughing. "Oh c'mon Bard, be serious." he shook his head before replying.

"I am being serious, and I know how he does the magic. He uses tha' stupid necklace you wear to control you and make you do things tha' he wants you to do."

I simply rolled my eyes. "ya righ', tha' totally sounds like the truth... I'll jus' go ask someone else then" I left the kitchen and as I left I heard bard call my name but I just kept walking.

Bard's POV:

I watched as alex walked out of the room. "Wai'! Alex!" I sighed in annoyance as she didn't respond and kept walking. "Why doesn' she believe me? I mean, i' doesn' sound much off of what Sebastian would do..." I sighed and went back to... cooking..? should i even call it cooking..? to be honest, not even I remember exactly why i cook with explosives and a flamethrower... hmmm... oh! right! i was worrying about Alex! not my damn explosives! "I have to find a way to show her that it is the truth... But how would I do that? I'll have to find some way to show her the necklace using the power... but how?" suddenly I hear the loud voice of lady Elizabeth and cringe. "Oh wonderful... lady Elizabeth is here... well, i guess i's time to start cooking more!" I pull out my flamethrower and proceed to roast the meat, completely forgetting about whatever the hell I was thinking before... 

A few hours later I finally remembered what I was supposed to be worrying about, Alex is in danger, and I need to find a way to convince her that the necklace is changing her.
