Chapter 6: The Ball

        No one's POV

As the guests began to arrive at the phantomhive manor the servants

had had to finish their jobs quickly and move out of the ballroom to get into fancier outfits than they already had on because ciel wanted them all to wait on the guests, telling them he would double their pay if he did so. When the servants came back into the ballroom to begin serving the guests Bardroy noticed Alex in a beautiful dress standing beside sebastian and talking to him but she once again seemed different and he could see from there that the necklace that Sebastian had given her was glowing a faint red.

Bardroy's POV

As soon as I saw her I noticed she was wearing a ballgown but it didn't seem like she had to serve the guests which was odd... What the hell is she- wait a second... Is she waltzing? She doesn't even know how to dance! Is this not suspicious to anyone but me?! I mean come the hell on! She isn't even acting like herself! This is ridiculous! I decided to walk over to her after a few minutes. "Hey alex. Why are you wearin' a dress..?" She got a very confused look on her face when I said this.

"What do you mean why? I'm wearing it because I am supposed to be having conversations with the guests and besides aren't you supposed to be serving them? You shouldn't be talking to one of the guests"

   "Uh... you aren't a guest here though... you work here... so technically I can talk to you and not get in trouble so..."  

"Go back to your work Bardroy you will get in quite a bit of trouble if you don't do your job so have a good night."

I watched as she began to walk away and got an overwhelming sense of anger towards Sebastian because this whole thing was his fault! If he were to just leave Alex alone she would be back to her normal self and not acting all weird! What does he even want with her anyway? I mean there has to be something that he wants... Wait... He obviously wants her... I'll have to keep her as far away from Sebastian as I can. I looked over to Sebastian and glared then watched as he through a sly glance my way before hooking an arm around Alex's waist and pulling her close. I saw red for a moment as I watched Alex's face go light red before she turned to him and hugged him.

Sebastian's POV

I saw that Bardroy was glaring at me so I decided to wrap my arm around the waist of Alexandra just to make him annoyed. After I had wrapped my arm around her I had watched the look on Bardroy's face go from a bit annoyed to completely enraged in under a few seconds. I looked to Alexandra and noticed that her face had gone a very light shade of red and a sly smirk crawled across my lips. The smirk on my lips grew as Alex turned to me and hugged me and I felt a sense of accomplishment as she hid her face in the crook of my neck. I pulled her close then smirked at Bardroy from over her shoulder then watched as he gave me a death glare. I then decided to mouth "she's mine" and I could tell that he knew exactly what I had mouthed. He then stalked off and I could tell that I had enraged him and that brought quite a bit of pride to me I didn not see him at all for the rest of the night... I wonder if he is planning anything.
