Elysia sighed, having retired early to her resting quarters. Essence held a silver platter beside her, lowering it as Elysia sat at her bedside. She took the letter, examining it.
There was a gold stamp with the engraving of a rose, vines winding around it with sharp thorns. She smiled in delight, opening the letter as Cylis entered the room.
The two servants watched as her eyes raked every detail, every word that had been neatly printed onto the worn page.
She suddenly stood, her bare feet touching the cold ground which Essence objected to, trying to pry her little master back onto the bed.
"Cylis, patrol the mansions area, I don't want any disturbances when my lord visits." He bowed. "Yes, My Lady." He disappeared, leaving Essence and Elysia. "Essence, prepare my clothes, I don't want to disappoint him." Essence bowed. "Yes, My Lady."

"Who are we meeting, Elysia?" He asked, furrowing his eyebrows as she half-dragged him towards the entrance hall of the Phantomhive Estate. She didn't respond. Ciel looked at her as she walked down the steps.
She was dolled up, more than usual and Ciel couldn't deny that his face was burning ten times redder than when he first realised the beauty she possessed.
Sebastian and Essence trailed behind them, Essence making sure her mistress did not trip from the ends of her dress.
Her dress, Ciel noted, was made of the finest silk and the most intricate designs of golden flowers along the ends of the skirts. Her whole dress was white, the top of her corset lined with sparkling gold.
Her waist was tied with a golden sash which ribbons were tied behind her, making it difficult to hold her hand among all the rushing. Her hair was in braids which were tied to stay on her head instead of falling behind her.
The collar tightly surrounded her neck, gold strings creating the pattern of naked vines. The length of her skirts stopped at her ankle, the layers a mixture of pure white and shimmering gold.
He savoured the feeling of her smooth fingers which held his in a gentle, warm grip. Ciel looked to Elysia's face which was beaming with excitement. Most likely for the person who she claimed was visiting.
This caused a spark of jealousy in Ciel which he tried to conceal, but the slight scowl on his face said otherwise. Her deep green eyes seemed to light up with this excitement which made it appear lighter than usual, her thin lips curled up into a smile. He caught glimpses of her golden shoes as they descended the staircase.
She was god-like, glowing and showered in utmost content. He was aware of Sebastian's and Essence's footsteps. This left him wondering as to what left her so desperate, that she had summoned something so impure, so unlike her.
"Elysia, who are we meeting?" He repeated, smoothing out his clothes as Elysia did the same. "Oh, my--" A knock resounded throughout the hall, causing Elysia to silence herself, standing straight
Ciel sighed and prepared himself for her guest. Cylis opened the door, the sun blinding Ciel. Before Ciel could see their guest, Elysia had already moved, pushing formalities aside.
Elysia laughed, throwing her hands over her fiancé's shoulders. "Good afternoon, Elysia." He greeted, his hand falling to wrap around her waist as he placed his lips to her forehead, his eyes closing.
As Ciel's vision came back, he saw their warm exchange, jealousy bubbling up in his chest. Elysia said nothing more, pulling him closer. "Sebastian, who is he?" He hissed through his teeth. "If you bothered to listen to my hierarchy lesson, this is Duke Rein, fiancé to Lady Theda."
Elysia pulled away from him, staying by his side. "You may call me Lord Pierce." He did not bow. "Lord Phantomhive." Ciel said, bowing low to his duke. "Thank you for taking care of Elysia. My lady seems to attract more trouble as time goes by."
Pierce waved for Cylis. "My Lord." He said, bowing low. Ciel caught a Faustian contract on the back of his hand glow softly. "Cylis is yours?" Ciel said, eyes wide. Elysia cleared her throat. "Manners, Lord Ciel."
The suffix returned as she addressed him. Ciel resisted the urge to glare. "I apologise, Lord Pierce." The duke just chuckled and waved him off. "It's fine Elysia. As for you, Lord Ciel, Cylis belongs only to my lady." Ciel furrowed his eyebrows. "Then Essence belongs to you?" He asked. "No, Essence also belong to Elysia, I'm afraid."
Before Ciel could ask another question, Sebastian placed a finger to his lips. "That's enough, My Lord." Ciel looked at Pierce who knelt down in front of his lady. He took her hand and kissed it gently.
"A dance, my lady?" He asked, muttering into her hand. "Always." Ciel, grumbling angrily to himself, lead them to where him and Elysia were dancing earlier. Cylis used the piano to start the mood, a gentle classical tune waving around the room.
It was soft enough to hold a conversation between Elysia and Pierce but loud enough so that Ciel couldn't overhear. Essence quietly entered, moving to stand beside Sebastian who stood next to the provoked earl.
Pierce placed a gentle arm around her waist, his fingers softly caressing hers as he pulled her close. He was just a few inches taller than her, his lips brushed the side of her cheek, their breathing matching each other's.
His black hair hung somewhat messily on his head, yet fitted his relaxed manner. His eyes were a dark brown that changed into a glittering golden that twinkled at the slightest movement. His skin was smooth and his smile enchanting.
He gently swayed them to the music, guiding her each step. His eyes closed and as Elysia closed hers as well, she realised this was what she missed the most. It were times like these she wished she hadn't made a deal with the demon, it were times like these she wished the both of them weren't just walking corpses.
But, Elysia pushed these thoughts to the side, wanting to enjoy this moment as long as she could. Taking a deep breathe, she found he smelled faintly like the afternoon and the pages of a new book.
"You smell like chocolate, Elysia." Pierce murmured into her hair, his eyes still closed as he rocked both of them gently to the music. Hearing no response from his lady, he chuckled. "Elysia." He repeated. A small hum escaped her throat, as she sighed in content.
Pierce swore she could fall asleep in this position, in his arms. "Lord Phantomhive doesn't seem exactly pleased to see me." It was Elysia's turn to laugh, her eyes fluttering open. A warm feeling that seemed to constrict her chest, rose to her throat as her eyes met with his that were already smiling down at her.
"Now I feel as if you're not talking to me on purpose." He sighed, causing Elysia to shake her head. "No, no. Just... You look really nice today." She whispered, a small hint of a blush tinting her cheeks. Pierce chuckled. "I was just teasing, Elysia." He reassured, kissing her forehead.
Ciel scowled, looking away. Sebastian plastered his silicone smile on his face as he looked down at his master. "Stop scowling, my lord." He said, straightening his master's back.
Ciel only waved the butler's hand away. "Have you sensed any other demons?" Ciel asked. "No, my lord." Ciel glared at the boy who made eye contact with him.
"It seems Lord Ciel entices you more than I do." Elysia muttered as she smirked up at him. Pierce 'tsk'ed and looked down at her, gazing into her deep green orbs. "You know what I'm doing." He said matter-of-factly, chuckling as she pouted.
"If only you had time for me." She whispered, running her hand through his hair, causing him to sigh. "I really have missed you, Elysia. Please tell me Cylis and Essence are keeping you safe." Elysia gave a small smile.
"Always, Pierce. You make me worry too." Cylis played the last few notes to the song which Elysia and Pierce silently danced to, relishing the small moments they could have.
