Elysia's arms were numb. She couldn't move them, let alone summon the energy to move her legs. She opened her eyes, turning her head to the right to see Essence curled up in her cat form beside her. She turned her head to the left, just as a knock resounded through the room.

"Come in." She murmured, the door immediately opening. "Good morning, Lady Elysia." Cylis greeted, strolling towards the curtains and pulling it wide apart. Elysia felt Essence uncurl and stretch behind her, a small mewl emitting from the cat demon.

Hearing no response from his mistress, he quickly returned to her side, seeing she had not moved. "My arms and legs won't move. They feel numb." She murmured, closing her eyes as Cylis began to raise her to a sitting position. "You do not seem to have a fever My Lady." He said, removing his hand from her forehead.

Elysia opened her eyes, her deep green orbs looking into Cylis' deep red. Essence moved to curl up in Elysia's lap, causing Cylis to smile. "I believe it will take a few minutes until the feeling of your muscles will return, My Lady. Feeding on you must have taken a great toll on your body. With Essence's help, you will heal in a few minutes." Elysia sighed and looked back at Cylis who noted the symbol of healing engraved on her left eye glow faintly.

Cylis kneeled down and stroked Essence's head. In response, the ball of fur mewled in delight, her tail moving to curl around his wrist. Elysia smiled, closing her eyes as she let Essence heal her. Cylis cooed Essence's tail away from his wrist.

"We will have to skip morning tea and onto breakfast, My Lady. Lord Ciel is waiting quite impatiently in the dining room." Elysia sighed, feeling the touch of the bed beneath her. She stretched her arms then patted Essence's head who hopped off afterwards.

Elysia took the bedsheets off of her and stood on the edge. "Essence, please dress me in blue and black." The cat morphed back into Elysia's maid. "Yes, My Lady."

Ciel sighed, stirring his tea a third time. "What is taking Lady Elysia so long?" He said, wanting breakfast to be served so that he could continue with the day's schedule. The door opened as soon as he finished his remark, causing Ciel to choke a little on his tea.

Sebastian moved to his master's side, patting his back which Ciel quickly shooed away as Elysia walked in, her butler trailing behind her. But, Ciel didn't care about what he had seen of her butler that night.

He didn't care that Sebastian stiffened beside him or started kneeling in front of Essence's cat form, trying to get her attention. Nor did he care that in 1.2 seconds his tea would have been spilt on the ground if it wasn't for Cylis' saving hand.

Ciel's eyes raked Elysia's dress, her hair, her face and the eyepatch that she wore. Maybe that was the item that got him to finally get a good look at Elysia. He realised her fair complexion, her smooth gait and the natural curls of her ebony hair which was tied in an elegant, noble hairstyle. Half of it was up, the other falling into curls that ended just beyond her shoulders.

The eyepatch covered her right eye, mimicking his. "Essence thought it would be a good idea to match, My Lord. If you don't mind." Ciel seemed to be in a trance, watching as she talked. She raised an eyebrow, her perfectly nailed down fingers fiddled with her dress. "Is it not to your tastes, My Lord?" She asked, turning around to show the back, her waistline completely visible.

Ciel gulped and shook his head. The dress was amazing. Blue looked beautiful on her. He gazed up to meet her eyes. The deep green peeking out from under her naturally long lashes, the black eyepatch that hid the other was enough to make him wonder what it looked like with both of her eyes. Her cheeks were rosy as she turned back around.

"Bocchan, answer the lady properly." Sebastian whispered in his ear. Ciel blinked away the trance, his jaw opening once then closing again. "Well, if it encourages you. You do look nice, My Lord." She complimented, smiling. Cylis smirked, knowing full well the type of exchange they were having. Essence ran out of the room, checking around the mansion again for anything unusual.

Ciel's face burned red before he whispered his response. Elysia furrowed her eyebrows. "Pardon, My Lord?" She asked, unable to hear him. He spoke up, clearing his throat. "You look beautiful, My Lady." He finally said, turning to Sebastian. "Please serve breakfast." His order was barely audible. "Yes, My Lord."

As soon as Ciel and Elysia were seated comfortably, Sebastian rolled in with the trolley that contained the food. They ate silently, savouring the food that Sebastian had made. Cylis stood idle at the side, waiting for an order from his young mistress. Halfway through their food, Ciel took a gulp of his water. "My fiancée, Elizabeth, will be visiting after lunch." He said, feeling a bit uncomfortable discussing Elizabeth with Elysia.

Elysia took a sip of her own glass. "Should I change what I am wearing before then?" She asked, raising an eyebrow. Ciel quickly shook his head at the thought. "No, My Lady." She warily agreed.

"Would she not be concerned about how our clothing matches? She is your fiancée after all." Elysia voiced out her concern, finishing her dish which Cylis cleaned up and returned to the kitchen.

Ciel smiled. "It will only be a misunderstanding." He reassured. Elysia only nodded, standing up. "If I recall correctly, you have dancing lessons for the upcoming ball?" She asked, smiling. Ciel stood up as well. "Yes, I do."
