Chapter 7

Felix POV/ Third Person POV

"Will yeah I was planning on it till Jisung and Minho started eye fucking each other in front of me and I had to run away before I saw something I couldn't ever unsee" Felix shivers in fright at the thought of what he would have witnessed had he stay

Hyunjin laughs again

"Finally those two have been pathetically in love with each other and doing absolutely nothing about it. It was so painful to see" Hyunjin said with a disapproving scowl

Felix smiles but can't help the question that comes to mind

"You notice? I thought you and Jisung hated each other?" Felix asks slightly confused about how Hyunjin would have noticed such a thing given his dislike for Jisung

Hyunjin shrugs his shoulders

"I might not like him but I'm not blind even I could see how hopeless those two were for each other. Also, I wouldn't say we hate each other we just have different ways of seeing things and bumped heads a few too many times last year" Hyunjin explains

Felix nods in understanding

"Yeah, it only takes one interaction between Minho and Jisung to tell they are down horrible for each other. How come you and Jisung bumped into each other last year did you have a class together?" Felix ask trying to keep the conversation going partially because he wants to know more about Hyunjin but mostly so he has an excuse to stay there with the other man.

Finally having Hyunjin's full attention on him and being able to talk to the man openly without interruption Felix finds himself enjoying this a lot more then he probably should. Talking to Hyunjin is easy and Felix doesn't ever want to stop. If staring at Hyunjin was previously his favorite pastime talking to the man has just become his new one. He'll have to come up with new ways to indulge in his new favorite activity but till then he plans to make the most of the time he has alone with Hyunjin now.

"Yeah I decided to take a music class last year since I've always wanted to learn more about other forms of art and I've always loved writing poetry so I figured music is just poetry with a beat" Hyunjin shrugs " Jisung was in the class as well from the beginning we didn't get along well as you know I tend to have a hard time with fire wizards and Jisung can be so loud and annoying sometimes it just made it all that much worse but our teacher however was hell-bent on us becoming friends so she would partner us together for everything in hopes we'd I don't know learn to like each other. Instead, it did the exact opposite and we just disliked each other even more with each new project we had to do" Hyunjin finishes explaining with a shake of his head remembering back to the previous year and the countless arguments and full-blown fights he and Jisung got into through the course of the school year.

Felix can't help but laugh

"That's sorta how you and I meet isn't it?" Felix manages to get out in between his giggles of amusement

Hyunjin looks puzzled but nods nevertheless finding truth in Felix's words

"Yeah I guess it is I hadn't noticed till you pointed it out" Hyunjin responds still piecing in his mind all the ways in which his meeting with Felix matches the way in which he met Jisung

"You certainly have a pattern with fire wizards Jinnie I'm just glad we were able to move past that I wouldn't want you to hate me," Felix says solemnly melancholic at the idea of Hyunjin hating him

Hyunjin looks at him in silent analysis

"I could never hate you Felix in the beginning I didn't like you with you being a fire wizard and all but now that I know you I don't think I could hate you," Hyunjin said in earnest his cheeks going pink at the confession
