Chapter 5

Felix Pov/ Third Person Pov

The events of the party are ones Felix doesn't like to think about often they make him feel weird in a way he doesn't like his stomach starts to do weird things and blood starts pumping to places he'd rather it not when thinking about Hyunjin

However, he can't deny that they happened no matter how much he tries to erase the memory He finds on nights that he is exhausted from the day and no longer has it in him to fight with himself in those moments when he closes his eyes the events of that night replay in his mind in a constant loop. Like his brain trying to savor and relive that moment.

If he didn't know any better he would think his mind has its own sick agenda that it's trying to push because it times and waits for the perfect moment to show it to him knowing he is too weak and tired to be able to dismissive those thoughts

Though the last moment of peace between himself and Hyunjin was a moment, Felix's mind seems so desperate to relive

He finds when he is finally in his right mind that those memories are completely sullied by the events that proceed it

Nevertheless, even in his right mind, Felix hates that he can't bring himself to regret what happened that night because in all honestly if he is being real with himself for just a moment that night was one of the best of his life and Felix could never regret what they did

He just regrets he didn't savor the moment more had he known it was the first and only time he would feel Hyunjin's skin he might have taken his time to fully take in the other man more closely

He would have dragged that kiss on longer he would have savored Hyunjin's plush smooth lips against his he would have pulled him closer till there was no space between them...

There is a lot he would have done differently that night a lot he wishes he could tell his younger self alas Felix is not a wizard that can control time

He is just simply a fire wizard and regrettably, he did what fire wizards do best

He destroyed what could have been

Burned it to ashes

With no hopes of anything ever growing in the desolate fields that are Hyunjin and Felix's relationship

2 Years Ago Friday

He spends Friday morning as relaxed as he possibly can trying not to work himself up too much trying to persevere his mental stability and trying not to overthink and thereby making himself anxious over unlikely events his brain can come up with.

However, this proves to be extremely difficult when you have a roommate such as Jisung

Jisung wakes up earlier than he ever has before 11 AM which might not seem very early but for Jisung the man who can't be found awake till 2 PM most days 11 AM is quite early. Felix is already up by this time, and his day tends to start a lot earlier than Jisung's.

Felix has always had a schedule and he intended to keep it when he started school thankfully thus far he has made good work of his own personal promise and raises at the same time he usually did back home. 8 AM sharp

Which again, was a pretty normal time for most people but Jisung seemed very shocked when he heard of Felix's daily schedule. Felix didn't pay him too much attention after all Jisung was not one to talk about time management.

Will expect for today of course

Rising earlier than usual from the moment the other is awake he is running around the room spiraling from the moment his eyes opened.
