𝙩𝙬𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙮 𝙤𝙣𝙚

When the knew of Rhaenys and Meleys death came to Elaena, she was saddened. But most of all, she felt guilty. She had felt that something would happen and it did, and now she feels she could have stopped it.

She lay in her and Jacaerys bed, staring at the wall. Jacaerys had gone out an hour ago to speak with some of the council, she said she wasnt up for it, and he understood.

When she woke this morning she felt hot and dizzy, she had even thrown up. But she felt better now. She knew it was probably her guilt.

Her eyes moved from the wall to the door as she heard it open, and she sighed seeing Jacaerys.

"Elaena, are you still feeling I'll? Shall I call the maester?" He asked worriedly, sitting down beside where she lay, his hand resting on her head.

"No, no. I'm feeling better now." She said smiling at him.

She sighed, pulling the blanket off of her, hopping up out of bed, and walking over to her vanity, picking up a red dress, placing it over her head, and her arms reaching to her back, trying to do her corset.

She groaned, trying to reach it before Jacaerys came over, smiling at her fondly "leave it" he said beginning to do it himself.

"I hope Corlys is copping ok" she said sighing.

"He is strong, although it will hurt, he will get through it" he said, finishing her dress and kissing her head as she turned around.

"Will you accompany to the dragonpit? I want to check on Pearl" She asked

"Of course" he said taking her hand and kissing it dramatically, making her roll her eyes in response.

When they eventually made it down to the dragonpit, Jacaerys parted with Elaena, as he went over to Vermax and she went over to pearl.

After a minute he heard a squeal, well more of an excited yell, and he lifted his head up to see her signalling him to come over to her.

"There's eggs! I see an egg!" She yelled excitedly.

Jacaerys laughed, finding her excitement very cute "how many?" He asked.

"Two, no! Three! Oh my gods there's three!" She yelled excitedly.

Jacaerys eyes widened, walking over to her now, his arm around her waist.

"How long till they hatch, do you think?" He asked her.

"Not long at all judging by the size" she said, jumping up and down excitedly.

"I will name one of them meleys" she said smiling down at the eggs sadly.

"That's a fine idea" he said kissing her cheek.

"Come, we should go back" he said and she nodded, interlinking their hands as they laughed, not before Vermax walked over to Pearl and saw eggs. He let out an excited screech making them laugh loudly.

"Looks like someone's excited to be a dad" she said.

"Indeed" Jacaerys said, before turning to look at her with a smile.

Around two hours later, Jacaerys and Elaena were in the library. Elaena was reading a book on dragon eggs while Jacaerys was pacing...a lot.
