Chapter 6

Alex's POV:

Today was it the day where Laurens would risk his life for honor, I tired to do what I did before so Laurens wouldn't get hurt and it would except this time Lee got shot right in the jaw like I hoped.

Laurens we won!!!!! "I'm satisfied" he cheered which were words to my ears. "Alexander!!!!!" Yes sir "go home...."

Weeks passed

Laurens left to fight his own war as did, I had to stay and fight at the Battle of Yorktown.
-A few days later-

Lauren's Pov:

I received a letter from Washington explaining how they won the war and everyone was free, I could easily imagine Alex's face screaming revolution heh... I hope I to see him again.

Alex's Pov:

The war was finally over!!!!! We were all free just like Laurens wanted!!!!...... wait..... Lauren's..... I took off running to Washington, Where's Laurens!!! "He is at the combahee River getting ready for the war" Washington you have to let me see him!!! "I can't allow that I have work for you" Washington pls!!!! I felt tears roll down my face, I need to see him!!!!! "Hamilton I oready awnsered you now get to work" I need to see him before he... he.... my memories came flooding back I remember the letter in Eliza's hands the blood covering the letter.

"Before he what?" I looked up to him You probably won't believe me but I'm from the future I went back in time to save Laurens "what do you mean save him?" In my time I revived a letter from laurens father informing me that he died before the war was over and I can't allow that to happen!!!! "I-I believe you...." I know you don't..... wait you do? "I know you wouldn't let anything happen to him, so I'll let you go to him" sir... "the work can wait, go to him!!" I got on my horse and set out for the river.

When I finally arrived the sky had darkened I started to scan the camp looking for anything that could resemble Laurens.

Lauren's Pov:

Dang it my head is killing me!!! I got up and walked to the closest hill and sat by a tree staring at the stars and trying to get rid of this darn head ache, I started talking to myself and the stars just like the good old days where Alexander and I would talk about wars and freedom... I was about to fall asleep until I heard the sound of a stick snap and I knew I wasn't alone.

Who's there!!! I yelled as I got up and looked around until I spotted some one snooping around the camp, wanting to protect my men I ran at them and landed and knocked them over.

"We should really stop meeting like this" that voice.... Alex!!! He smiled "at your service" what are you doing here "I came to help you" you don't trust me? "Laurens I know how reckless you are I couldn't leave you knowing that" Alex... you need to go back you could get hurt "I Can't!!!!!!" And why not? "I can't risk loosing you" by this time Alex was tearing up and I could see he wasn't leaving anytime soon.

Fine I'll allow you to stay, under one condition "and what's that?" Your sleeping on the floor "fine...." ("anything to change your future.")
