Chapter 2

Alex's POV:

I woke up on the ground with my head screaming of pain as I surveyed the area hoping to find some familiar face, to my luck I did.

I saw a face that reminded me of my journey, curious I walked up to him asking the only question I could think of "Pardon me? Are you Aaron Burr Sir?" to my surprise he turned around and stared at me "that depends who's asking".

The rest fell into place as he led me to the bar and got me a drink, it was going so well until "He" showed up.

L-Laurens? I muttered. He looked over to me shocked I knew him.

Lauren's Pov:

I walked into the bar Laf and mulligan at either side of me, we were about to get some drinks until I saw Aaron Burr, so I decided to go annoy him.

We finally walked over to Burr.

(If you stand for nothing Burr what'll you fall for)

Alex's POV:

"Who are you?" Who are you?" Who are you" "Huh who is this kid what's he gonna do???"

I'm Alex! He called over Laf and mulligan "well Alex this is Laf and Mulligan my two closest friends" nice to meet you guys I replied even thought I oready knew them.

We ended up talking about hopes and dreams and ran through the town yelling about freedom, I turned back to see laurens pumped up as if he was the leader, ready to charge into battle.

Soon after we went to the back of the bar and stared at the star lit sky making jokes and wish's.
Lauren's has left to use the bathroom so while he was away we started toasting to the war.

Lauren's walked out into the moonlight raising his glass "Raise a glass to freedom, something they can never take away no matter what they tell you. Raise a glass to the four of us, tomorrow they'll be more of us, telling the story of tonight" next thing I knew we were all laying on the ground asleep except for laurens.

I got up and walked over to him, he was at the edge of the hill staring at the sky, y-you ok? I asked "I'm making a wish" what's your wish? "I wish for. . . ."
